Mikey - an E4?  Cool. :)

Kaeto - how would they know?

I got back to work on my 1/48 Matilda last night.  I had made a mistake of not painting an area behind the tracks but I found the tracks could be moved a little and I got the priming done.  Also drilled about 12 tiny holes in the turret for items that get mounted to the outside.  It felt REALLY GOOD to be working on it again. :)

Yeah I did the E4 "real one" based off the WOT (so basically a M48 hull with the round nose) and then the "WOT" E4 with the turret.

I took a 1/16 Taigen Sturmtiger, bought a new early version Tiger 1 upper hull, repainted it, added some late model features , then lightly chipped and weathered it.  Ultimate scale model, no...  Lots of fun for me, for sure.

Looks really cool, Yankee.  I couldn't tell you a late Tiger from an early Tiger, even :)  Love the camo.

The most notable differences is that late models had the universal Panther commanders copula, steel road wheels and a change in the exhaust system.

Other changes were single headlight, an additional periscope port on the turret, elimination of front shovel, lots of minor things, the exhaust didn't change much, but the Late models eliminated the Fiefel air filters

I have been busy trying to put the workbench together. I had found a few models left over from years ago, still salvageable, slowly trying to re-work/ refurbish, before I start any new projects.

This is my 1st attempt, restoring the old ESCI German motorcycles.   More projects to come once the workbench gets cleared.

Is Your workbench as bad as Mine ? ???   LOL

Okay, i have the color modulation the way i like it, but now i'm terrified of screwing it up to do anything else to it (not including the tracks and road wheels).

What do you guys think, any suggestions?

Great Job, Lethal :)  The color looks great, especially the weathering / shading. I like the 21st Panzer Div too, anything DAK, British 8th Army,  North Africa related.

I'll be working on a SdKfz. 222 next, along with a few other DAK vehicles that need repair.  Keep up the good work !

Slow progress on my Matilda II...  I had to refill several holes and a bit of damage once I realized that the Matilda II in the period I want did not have the little square ammunition boxes attached to the turret.

I'm starting to work for the first time with photoetch to make some 2L "pow" (petrol/oil/water) containers which I will put into a scratch-built rack which was attached to the rear of the tank but is not a build option for the model.

Grr why doesn't this forum let me link to my uploaded pictures on a modelling forum... oh well.

Did what I could with the SdKfz. 222 . considering it was broken in 3 pieces, not too bad for a repair job.  Perhaps I'll incorporate it into one of the set-piece / dioramas that I'll be building next.

Probably what surprised Me the most, were these 2 SAS Jeeps. I did these almost  40 years ago, very much intact. I'll do some re-work on these as well .
