Farm other helpless pubbies who just came from T5. If you're playing with 75% crew feel how terrible the gun handling is though. You'll want to pull your hair (toupee) out.

Don't bother, with 9.14 coming out changes to the IS6 are going to make that tank the one to drive.

Don't bother, they are Chinese heavy tanks, they are crap copies of the Russian tanks.  Just another crap tank line introduced to try to get more people to play.

They have the stats wrong on penetration it is only 175 and coupled with a low velocity shell it is absolutely useless frontally on all most every tier and up tank , i do not recomend this tank it is basically a medium with armor , might as well run super P or for those pocket warriors spend on gold amo . You can't brawl with this tank it may bounce but like all the other chineese heavies once you get up close and personal its over . like a lion with no fangs or claws the mutz and kr where good tanks maybe soft but have very good guns. This is just my two cents worth take it or leave it.

My guide to the WZ-111:

1. Do not buy this tank.  Ever.  For any amount of real cash.  Not even for 1 penny.  Not even for 1 gold.

2.  If you are given this tank for free, or somehow come into possession of one accidentally, sell or remove it immediately.  You do not want to play this tank, ever, for the sake of your sanity.

With its gun handling the Super Pershing, IS-3 and IS-6 will give you trouble.  Otherwise the WZ-111 can be a beast at top tier (377 battles in mine).

It has been sort of fun stomping some of the really bad WZ-111 drivers this week.  I hadn't played my T29 for ages and took it out for a spin and absolutely bullied a WZ-111 solo.  Lower plate going in, bounced his shot, got him turned sideways rammed him to track him, commanders hatch, backed off to shoot his engine...at some point he switched to HE to do 30 damage or so...I almost felt bad.

If you do run the WZ-111 a few things:

1) The gun handling is a bit raw and hitting small weak spots is going to be tough...that IS-6 front hatch seldom stays still enough for a WZ's gun to hit.  If you run this with a 75% crew you will struggle.

2) You are in most cases a big MT with a large HP pool.  I like to run mine with MT's - you will encounter more tanks you can penetrate easily and can be a big bully.  You will also be with the right sort of tanks to swarm any HT's and focus them down quickly.  Don't be afraid of doing the face hugging in this role because that will open up the sides and back of the enemy to those flankers and you can hopefully bounce them or at worst trade commanders hatch shots.

3) Hide that lower plate - find a hole or rubble pile.  Your gun depression won't let you us ridges.  Some of the little dips that Russian tier 10 MT's use will work to be hull down but flat.

4) You don't have the side armor to sidescrape...it just isn't reliable.

I rather like the WZ-111 so far (although I wouldn't pay actual money for one, especially given what the CAD$ is doing at the moment*); having said that, I have got a 100% crew in it and a gun-rammer...

*If WG want to sell more stuff to people in Canada, they badly need to drop their prices, as long as the CAD$ is in the toilet!

I like the tank just fine, it is super forgiving and recently got an armor buff via the hd model. Getting 2-3k dmg per battle is easy and makes tons of creds, top speed means you will be left behind in the dust much less often than is6. Just last night I pushed up the a line on karelia defense while my team of idiotic noobs camped BC "huurrrrr durrr defense". Like five of their heavies yoloed me, I blocked 4.4k dmg and haphazardly fired 4-5 gold rounds, ended up getting 2.5k dmg, 4k spotting and like 70k pure profit.

I do not recommend players to purchase WZ-111 in this very stage considering that IS-6 is going to have an overall armor buff.

WZ-111's armor is effective when it hides behind the place where the lower plate could be covered. When it is not covered, even a tier 6 Cromwell can hit and penetrate its lower plate effectively and constantly. The point is its lower plate is only around 110 mm which is why low tier vehicles could have a high chance to penetrate it even with a long distance.

Comparing IS-6 and WZ-111, they are both weak when they face tier 9 tanks, however, IS-6 at least is a beast as long as it deals with low tier tanks.

Spoken like someone repeating something they heard with no actual experience of their own.  The only heavy tank in the Chinese tech tree that can rightfully be called a copy is the IS-2, the 110, WZ-111 1-4, and 113 all have their own play style and character and are not clones or copies of Soviet tanks.  The 110 looks similar to the IS-3, but it doesn't play like it.  The WZ -111 1-4 is easily one of the best tier 9 heavies, and combines the mobility of the T-10 with the hitting power of the E75, but with a reload nearly 2 seconds faster.  Armor protection is somewhere between the two.  The 113 has near medium mobility,  great DPM,  and a near autobounce front plate, it is nothing like either Soviet tier ten heavy.  It was also recently buffed,  making it much more competitive.   Chinese heavies,  not clones.

How come you changed the settings to premium rounds as default in tanks.gg?

Too desperate for someone to actually want to get the tank that you won't even admit that it has flaws?
