Why did They not add more sounds option in the main menu.... Like adjusting the sounds of the guns, engine, tracks, bounce, etc. They need to do that so we can choose the sounds depths

Yeah, I played with custom sound settings on WoT CT, and I gotta say it's way better than the current sound system we have. Still didn't use music since I like to listen to my own playlist, but all other sound effects are damn fine.

New sounds are VERY annoying.  WAYYYYY to much reverb.

New sounds are great, way more realistic than the old ones. However, too much low frecuencies for me, that gives you the feeling that the game battle is running very slow (or maybe there is a little more work to do with synchronization between intensity of sound and the actual speed of the tank. Crew voices volume are too low in comparison with guns and engines.

And there is a minor bug in which friendly base capture alarm still sound after being reset.
Thats all for now

Okay so there is a new sound system. This supposedly provides additional details to gamers about the gameplay (e.g., approximate caliber of the opponent's gun, ammunition type, approximate amount of damage received). Sounds like its a great improvement. I'm not impressed.

This game attracts a large number of deaf and hard of hearing gamers. When (and how) will Wargaming / WOT start to provide better / more visual information on the screen so that those of us who cannot hear this information can still have access to it?

My Sennheiser HD 600 and Asus Xonar Essence STX will appreciate this.

Annoying is what it is.

I had to go in and shut most of it off in settings and it has an annoying hiss that is hard to separate and remove.

Is there any way to cut this out and go back to the old sounds?

It sounds like I'm shooting a pellet gun at pop cans, and the dings off the hull sound like gravel thrown on a tin roof.  Very lame.

I wouldn't mind a couple more sound sliders. In particular, I would like to be able to specifically lower the engine volume, as well as the sounds that accompany 6th sense, and injured crew and modules (these could all be lumped together), without reducing other sounds. A list of exactly what sounds are under what heading would not be missed either.

That said, I am really enjoying the new sounds, excessive volume of the above notwithstanding. Very nice work.

Playing the JPzE100 -- sounds like I'm shooting bottle rockets and getting hit by silverware... One would never know that really heavy armor was involved in any way.

I really hope they didn't spend much time on this. Any ideas on alternative mods for the sound yet?

I absolutely HATE and DESPISE the new sounds.  SO much so that I am quitting until there is a fix!

Amen on the JE100. Loved the BOOM when the gun went off before. Sounds like a rifle now. Every tank sounds like a rifle now. Did you guys ever here of a Woofer? It's that thing that makes low sounds. Find one, then figure out what they are for.

Please give us the option of the old sounds, or put in an EQ and some appropriate gun sounds. Aweful patch guys, just aweful

My SU-100 100mm gun sounded so anemic it was pathetic. I could barely hear the sound of the new electric engine it now has after this sorry update. Can't wait until a new sound mod comes out. It's painful to play.

The new sounds are terrible!  Please include an option to use the sounds before this patch.  I agree that guns that used to sound AWESOME now sound like airsoft rifles.

Edit: The issues seem to have more to do with headsets than external speakers.. the gun sounds are still bad though

"Improved sound" my a**. These new sound are absolutely terrible. I don't care if they're more 'realistic', they sound weak and hollow, and every gun sounds the same. The old sounds were amazing; they sounded powerful, stylized, and most of all were very pleasant to listen to. (ESPECIALLY the giant 152mm+ guns.) This isn't WT, get out of here with your pretend realism. I can't play this game any more until the old sounds come back.

The old sounds were absolutely terrible imo. At least they took the time to make tanks actually sound somewhat like real tanks now. I think the new sounds are a good addition to the game system, I even like the garage music. I used to hate all the sound from this game and turn everything off, it was cheesy arcade beep boop sounds. Now I have no excuse to do that. Much better immersion for me, even if the music and sound is a bit on the deep side of things.
