If you need a gpu, and you are in the states, I got a gtx650 and 4 gigs of Hynix ddr2 i'd donate.
I'd do it for shipping for you old friend.
And can that fit into a laptop? then no, can't do it

ya. If it not in some kind of program form(app, exe, batch). Then I don't see myself wasting time with it since I don't know how to code
Well, figured out how to compile it into an EXE with Visual Studio Express 2012.
I run it, and it gives a "little" instructions, but I have no idea what to do.
That dude needs to make instructions like you have. Cause apparently part of the process will be easier not as long/hard as your Tutorial.
BTW.... oh ya baby.... been missing the Star War's Guns and Music for WOT!
I don't know what it is, but I would love them to be the game default sounds.... lol
I guess tanks are almost like Space Ships/guns to me lol

Check this out my friend, then get back to me.
GPU External For Laptops mod.
You pay shipping and you can have the gpu. I don't have any spare SODimms, but the GPU is yours, if you feel like trying it out.
I'm gonna have to pass. I will be fine, but thanks anyway

Well I guess, this guide will have to do for now till someone come up a easier way to make music and crew sound mods.
And.... I just found out how to replace the Sixth Sense sound. But gonna to wait till tomorrow to fully test it
edit: ok I just tested it. I replaced it with Pinkiesense sound and it worked like a charm
Go to this thread and download one of his sixth sense mod.
http://forum.worldoftanks.eu/index.php?/topic/558529-0914-sixth-sense-sounds/
Then use the guide here in this thread to replace the sixth sense sound in Sixthsense.bnk file that come with the mod(you must have xvm installed for this to work). It will be easy as hell since you're replacing 1 sound.
now I don't have to listen to that annoying sixthsense ping sound that WG have

In all seriousness, can I use this to create my own 6th sense sound?

most of the sound is in a single pkg file. And we have tried unpacking each .bnk files that are inside it. But no luck so far.
I'm trying to say, it don't unpack the sounds all the way. Let say, it convert 1-2 sound out of 20-30 that in the file. But fail to convert the rest for whatever strange reason. So therefore, unable to mod the files correctly like we can with voiceover.bnk.

Then what we have to do is boost the volume on all the sounds in voiceover.bnk. Which is going to be a lot of work.

people are slowly working their version of voice mods. So far, I only seen 3 finished mods so far since 9.14
it time consuming

I don't really want a voice mod. I like the Czech, French, UK and USA voices. What I want is to get rid of all the UI noises and 6th sense alerts. They used to have their own slider, but no more.
It's really annoying we have to do this with a [edited] ton of clicking. Seems to me it would be a simple matter of coding to convert a bunch of files into the required formats. If we had CLI tools to do it.
