YOU NOW EARN CREDITS AND EXPERIENCE IN TOURNAMENT BATTLES and still DON'T PAY FOR VEHICLE REPAIRS!

The Stand-To is Wargaming’s new daily tournament (named after WWI’s daily face off against the enemy where soldiers were expected to stand ready on the trench fire step, preparing for attack). Now it’s your turn to roll into the fray. So gather your friends, grab your favorite tanks and defend your base. As a daily tournament, you can choose whether you want to Stand-To every day or only once in a while.

All active tournaments can be found by searching the Tournaments Home Page. Curious what's happening this month? Check out our eSports calendar!

Starting this week, a player now has two ways to register for the Stand-To tournaments! When you create the team, make sure that you are using the correct registration!

  • Register as a Team!
    • Registration works the same as normal.
    • Team captain makes a team and recruits players to join.
    • A complete team has 4 - 5 players.
    • Captains do not need to submit their team; all teams with the minimum number of players will be accepted.
    • The team is now ready to fight once the tournament starts!
  • Register as a Solo player or as part of a Party!
    • A party is a group of players that does not meet the minimum team size requirements.
    • Create a team. Teams do not need to be confirmed; all players will be accepted for the Solo/Party Registration.
    • Once registration has closed, the player will be combined with other solo player(s) and/or a party to form a complete team
    • After registration has closed, players are encouraged to check back to find their new team!

So how do you register as a solo player? It's easy! When you create a team, there will be Registration Option with a drop down menu. Simply switch from Register Team to Register Solo and you are ready to go!

How come eis a 'Special' Late night stand to but no day stand to? As a day gamer I don't get to sign up for anything. Every event is late, I don't even sign up for a clan because there is no clan activities during the day.

We did have an early Stand-To that started around 3 pm PT. In the past, we've even had daily tournaments as early as 11 am PT, with varying success. The issue with running an early tournament is what time - is 10 am PT early or is 1 pm PT considered early enough. If players are interested in seeing an earlier tournament happen (whether it's once or twice a week like the Late Night Stand-To or every day) then all feedback is appreciated :)

Tier Point Limit?  As in we could have 2 x Tier 5 and 2 x Tier 4 = 18? (Sorry, just signed up for a tournament for the very first time, and trying to make sure I understand it all :))

Yes, as the total is 18 tier points among 4 tanks. You may bring up to 4 players/tanks, a total of 18 tier points, with no tank to exceed Tier 5.

- You may not bring 1 Tier 10 and 1 Tier 8; while the total is also 18 tier points and you have 2 tanks (4 or fewer), you may not exceed tier 5 for any tank.

- You also may not bring 9 Tier 2 tanks; while, again, the total of 18 tier points is not exceeded, you may not have more than 4 players (or tanks) on the field.

4WIW, prehistoric tourneys had highly complex requirements which often led to (unintentional) fail teams.

I think there were still some unintentional fail teams last night.

Out of 6 battles, we had 3 Technical Wins (instant win without having to go to battle), which I assume means they didn't adhere to Tank Tier requirements? (or they didn't show up?)

They Did NOT credit our accounts with the promised prize GOLD - Played a tournament Monday and came in THIRD place. Prize list indicated 300 gold for each team member. As of Tuesday morning NO GOLD has appeared in anyone's account. If there is some delay in delivering prize pool GOLD no such delay was indicated in any of the tournament information. Does anyone have any ideas what might be happening ?

Thanks guys

PigDogg

The prizes are manually sent out, and I believe the FAQ explains that it typically takes about a week.

Hi! If you go to the Stand-To Rules it has the prizing rules laid out:

Gold Payments

  • Gold is credited to player accounts as quickly as possible.
  • Gold payments could take up to 7 days after the Stand-To has finished to be credited.
  • There may be a delay in crediting the gold if a player changes his/her name during or immediately after the Stand-To concludes.

As much as I would love to have this be an automatic process, there is a bit of a delay between the tournament ending and the prizes being credited. This lets us deal with any disputes that may come in for our tournaments.

So, thank you for your continued patience!

How do you register as a solo player? All I see are options to"Join a Team" or "Create a Team".

Am I missing something?

Hi Lexx2!!

You will want to go to "Create Team."

On the right side, you will see "Registration Option." The "Register Team" is the default option. When you click on it, you will see a drop down menue (see image below). The bottom option is "Register Solo." If you create a team using that option, when registration closes we will automatically add you to a team.

As a note, if you click on "Find Team," that screen will also give you the "Registration Option" with the dropdown menu. Selecting "Register Solo" will bring up a list of teams using the solo registration, if you wanted to try finding a team that way. Either way, all players in the "Register Solo" registration will be accepted and put into teams.

If you still have any questions, please let me know!

If you register solo/party do you just face other solo/party mixtures, or are you thrown in with the arranged teams?

you get an arranged team indeed, and you face other regular teams, the good and probably the most interesting feature of this, is that you can register with only 1 or 2 friends, and your team get filled with other players!
