To my knowledge, the M3 light was never freely available on NA, it was only ever given out as a reward for completing the tutorial; that's how I got it on my RU account.

while i had it in late 2012 it was trash, what makes you think slapping coated optics to 280m, effectively making only 308m would be considered good? this is why we need negs back

It was available as part of a bonus code from a website 4 or 5 years ago, cant remember which website/company it was, but thats how i got mine.

I've really liked playing this, it has slightly worse armor and pen than the T-127, but has great speed and the same matchmaking. It's a lot of fun!

So apparently the M3 LL should use Coated Optics to support its "already good view range" when it has as much view range as the most blind tier 1 tank? It has significantly worse armor than the T-127 which gets 320m view range, and the T-127 gets a better gun. If you want to suicide scout with 280m view range I suppose the M3 does kill itself faster.

I got mine through the tutorial when I first started on NA, sold it, got it again through buying an absurdly good tank bundle (they used to actually encourage people to spend money on premium tanks by offering reasonable deals) and then got another through a mission.

 

The tank is bad and not particularly rare.

This tank is NOT bad.....that is an insult to bad tanks.  It is worse than that.  I bounced off an M2.  Repeatedly.

It's really one of the worst tanks ever put into the game. It's too slow, gun is too poor, mobility is nonexistence...And making us play it to test out a tier 8 - it's kinda mean.

no it's was too in NA on tutorial but u know wg..... best thing can do remove everything from game easy job for them

A GREAT viewrange of ONLY 280m will allow you to be outspotted by a M2 Light even if you have Optics and the M2 doesn't!

Use Pudding and Tea on your Soviet tanks! No one likes those combat rations anyway! The British scum can have them whilst our comrades enjoy the tasty and exotic delicacies. 

37mm HE will TOTALLY be more effective than your standard and premium; I mean, it can't even do any damage to virtually anything whereas AP can actually do damage, critical or not. In addition to this, it can't even penetrate crates. What a great shell to fire right? With no splash, negligible extra alpha and pathetic penetration, it'll be a GREAT choice! 

Why is there a picture of small repair and first aid kits with a recommendation of using large ones? 

 

What's with the inconsistent capitalisation of improper nouns? 

And I feel that some of the apostrophes of ownership shouldn't exist. 

Does WG even proofread this after the translator who is of Russian or Ukranian background with questionable English ability is done with it?

Because I'm an idiot, I actually bought this; it's rather fun - basically, it's a Stuart (big surprise, right?). So, fast, with a tolerable gun for a light and with the survival quotient of a jellyfish in a blast furnace if you aren't top tier...

Correct me if I'm wrong

By my loose calculations the tank for $20 includes $17.50 of stuff, which if you need, is a cheap toy.

If you don't isn't.

If you usually get equipment on sale , a $7.50 tank.

If you sell off all the extras, you get 50% of the tanks increased value at time of sale and sale price of extras

so you get a toy.

They get cash flow. Even more if you pay to train up a crew

All you really have spent is time

 

interesting to compare with US model. Ain't the same.

Also compare to T127 for Soviet Premium

It would be interesting to compare actual xp generating capacity given performance differences.

May really need the preferential MM

lol even with firing premium ammo out of the gun the tank struggles. God forbid you run into someone who slapped 100 down for the BTSV or imported a PZ2J code/won one from a random event.

I got mine the same route from doing the tutorial at the start of my WoT gaming days. It was one of two M3 Stuarts / LL - (the USSR version) since it was a lend lease tank. I mastered the tank then quit playing it cuz it wasn't that special. I still have it in my garage as a collector's item.  I see no reason to play it again since the T-127 performs soooo much better.
