Not really a game play question but... Why do people keep inviting me to training rooms after battles with them? Is this some sort of slight, like "you're bad and should go back to the training room?" It's very strange because I get them more often after I do well... Someone educate me in WoT cultural norms.

I've gotten a few as well. Wasn't sure what to make of it. I never accepted any either.

No idea here either - I don't think I ever gotten any. You certainly don't need to feel like you should accept random invitations to something, but I would consider it good courtesy to reply and say "thanks, but I'd like to do X instead".
Twice I've had random people ask me to platoon. I missed seeing the first one until after he went offline; the other one platooned with me for 5-6 matches before he decided he'd rather sui-scout and move on than wait for me to actually contribute to and finish the battle.

Usually it's from them spamming the invite all command. If they liked what they saw and added you to their friend's list, that is.

Played in a match about a month ago on malnikova(sp)...In my tier 5 KV...decided to camp a bit and defend as of course speed is an issue with the vehicle......Anyway...Dead rushing noob in a T29 starts ranting about campers and how bad we were hurting the team, I ignored the rants but eventually, responded maybe not as kindly as I should have. well Noob doesn't like my response and of course "challenges" me to a training room duel with him so he can show me what a noob I am. I ignore for about an hour but he just keeps sending me invites so eventually I jump in with in my KV-3......Closest thing I had to his tier(I had nines and a ten at the time but no tier seven) Anyway he is truley a noob and in about 3 minutes I have him down to about 10% health I am at 75% and he knows he is soon going to deceased......he rage quits the battle and and leaves me alone. Could be you offended them somehow and they want to challenge you....I never thought of doing that before but, some apparently have.

I just click on the invite window, then X out of the pop up window. 99% of the time I don't know the invitee and since you don't get exp & creds from Training I never go. When I first started in Closed Beta I figured I'd learn in Random, at least I got 'paid' in them.

It's just a bunch of random people trying to invite others. They just use the search function and go down the list of names.
I never accept any of them. Waste of time unless you are using the training room for Clan Wars and the like.

have it happen all the time for tank company and training room. to me it seems people trying to populate the room they started, hitting the invite all tab...

if you don't know the person best to decline and maybe put them on ignore if they keep doing it.

Being up there on the alphabetical list, I do get random invites from time to time. I too don't accept much as 99% of the time I don't know them. I'm in the opinion of if you really want to get to know someone, open up a chat channel with them and have a discussion. It can lead to platooning and a new friend.
For some reason random invites for companies have decreased for me. When the best I had was a KV I'd get them all the time for those that just needed an extra guy and 90% of the time they got a higher tier in, so it was useless to even try. Now it barely ever happens and I'm unsure why.
