Hello Tankers! 

 

We would like to share with you some very interesting facts about World of Tanks!

 

• World of Tanks NA is home to 20,466 clans and growing.​ 3,547,115 people have played at least one battle on the NA server.
• A total of 106,863,058 battles played, including special battles such as tournaments and team battles but not including training sessions.
• Over the last 5 years 51,586,785 tanks have been unlocked.
• Over the last 5 years tanks have been acting like lumberjacks by knocking down 2,828,251,828 trees. Timmmmmber!
• A total of 7,170,931,205 shots were fired last year alone.
  • 1,687,191,830 of those shots were blocked and 2,866,049,201 totally missed.
  • 25,251,038 of these shots set enemies on fire. Burn baby, burn!

 

Let’s take a look at the carnage that went down last year:

 

- Light Tanks destroyed 84,696,074 enemy vehicles. Not including all the enemies you spotted for enemy fire. Not bad scouts!

- Medium wolf packs were able to take down 152,889,349 enemies.

- Tank Destroyers have sniped 134,577,952 enemies, watch out for tanks behind bushes! 

- Artillery has cleared 53,820,463 enemies from the battlefield.

- Heavy tanks have mowed down a total of 163,363,604 enemy tanks.

• Earning a total of 275,564,935,631 base experience over the course of last year! 

 

These are some amazing facts about World of Tanks!

Artillery is less, but it's so random that it's frustrating

About 3 million of those people are either bots, 8 year olds, or people who have quit the game because better games.

IF I'm honest, that's a lot lower than I expected, I'm pretty sure its happened to me alone about that many times.....

Can we get the stats for avg time since "last battle played" over the last 5 years and see how fast the community is dying?

That's only like an average of 30 games per person... But very interesting stats none the less haha

That's definitely interesting, wonder how it compares with EU and RUS.

Would be interesting to see the damage breakdown by class as well.

You forgot the other amazing facts

1. The staff of the office actually condones rigging and cheating
2. Not only condones it but partakes in it by their own admission on the live stream yesterday
3. Hypes a major event and fails miserably to deliver
4. Thinks the LTP is super ultra rare
5. Thinks the KV-5 is rare and never before seen
6. Only the forums rules are taken seriously in game rules are more of a suggestion than anything else

How many of the totally missed shots were from a T49 from less than 10 feet away from its intended target?

What Wargaming should really be worrying about isn't premium sales. Hell no. It's WoT. They should be asking players their opinions on regular in-game tanks. The T-50 LT sure needs a buff. It was an infantry support light tank with the Red Army, so it shouldn't have scout mm in WoT either. It's turret armour is also too weak(I mean the gun mantlet, not the physical turret), not being able to hold up to even 50mm shells, let alone occasional 75mm L/43s. I suggest: lose the scout mm, and possible even give it the 57mm Zis-4 from one of the prototypes. Then it would actually be competent. It's role is more medium tank than light

So from this, about 1 in 28 shots lights someone on fire.

Most people don't land 28 shots in one game, or even get to fire 28 times before the battle ends.

Now try lighting someone on fire twice in one battle.

I JUST did that mission today after trying for over six months.  I just decided "[edited]it" and played about two hundred games in the cromwell in the past week.
