I think it be cool to over lap the Company of Hero voices with the WoT lines to have a full set of expressions for each message. so there wouldnt be any missing empty voice lines. Like instead of having no voices, just have the default WoT voices.
Or even mix in the Panzer elite with the Wermacht...
Or mix in the American with the Default Wot voices.. i guess thats kinda authentic.

Actually, what you could do to get a result like this is to decompress the FSB files, then create a new, single FSB and FEV file out of the contents in those. It'd be pretty large, but it'd work fine.

Amazingly I've actually updated!
Check OP for new links etc.
Biggest change is the new extended packs.

is there any way wot music could be replaced with coh music? the score is much better in coh!
#46 Posted Aug 05 2011 - 02:41
There is a way to replace the music, but sine I don't play with the WoT music, I'll need some help when I get around to trying to mod the ingame music. My plan was to literally bring in a mix of OSTs from World at War (Red Army theme, specifically, as well as a few others) and Company of Heroes (mainly the British music).
Also, I'm a bit surprised that, for the British part, you didn't add any voices from the Kangaroo or Priest. It'd be funny to just hear "DON'T JUST STAND THERE, YOU STUPID F**KS!!!" when your track gets hit from arty (yes, the Priest says that in his Canadian accent).

As for the Priest, I was thinking of maybe including him in the future with the non-generic packs.
Added a poll though, should I combine the Whermacht and Panzer Elite packs, since they are both German.
#49 Posted Aug 06 2011 - 19:20
voted yes to the poll since they are both german, but any possible way to keep a link where they are both separate, just in case some people dont like the way the voices mesh?

Do add in the voice "Soo.. You ready to call in the big guns now, ja?" clip from Wehr P4. I haven't heard that one so far.
#52 Posted Aug 08 2011 - 05:19
Is it possible to put all of them in one big pack? I run both American and German tanks, and I was wondering if the voice packs mix.
Otherwise, well done.

That would be possible, throwing them all into one package. But then the sounds will all be jumbled together- you'll hear german one second and then you get hit by ol' english the next. I would hazard that that wouldn't make a good VO package, although if you're in it for the spontaneousness then
, just go yell at mastertaco to make one for you.

^What he said.
Although, I am looking into making a voice pack switcher program. No promises, still just a concept.

Yep, what massacre said. For some reason the ingame_voice files were patched in 6.6, however I didn't notice anything different when I looked through them. Just the mod back into the audio folder and all is good.

Combined the Whermacht and Panzer Elite voices, for a German pack. Old versions still in OP if you prefer those.

Pity you converted the english-german voices instead of the full german ones. Could you upload a full-german version?
