Am I alone thinking this?

Ever since the new ''physics'' patch, one of my favourite tanks, the Pz1c has gone way down on that list. Since this tank has no armor or gun to impress anyone, it HAD enough straight line and cornering speeds to make any opponents dizzy. Now since the patch, you can barely drive it in a straight line without the damn thing flipping over. No armor, no gun and now you can't use your speed at it's full potential... what a waste.

Don't play it anymore but I know what you mean, have the same problem with my Luchs.

and other lights for that matter.

Well, I haven't taken my PZ1C out since the patch, maybe its time...

Or maybe you need to run it more to adjust to the differences in the physics so you get used to driving it. just a thought.

I have adjusted to the new cornering speeds and the way it reacts over bumps and ditches to keep it from flipping but this tank has now become very ordinary.

Luchs is easy to drive with new physics, still one of the best tanks in the game.

1C has only ever been useful for trying to troll when top-tier, so who cares.

The devs said they will look into making the flips better, so in a few patches you can use ur precious pz1c again

Not gonna lie, it's 'sorta' true. Faster tanks specifically LTs and super fast Mediums need to be very careful with how they use their speed now due to the potential for hitting a bump or turn wrong.

I wouldn't say that it's a nerf exactly, but it's close. Heavies, and slow TDs have a considerably harder time causing self harm.

I still like faster vehicles like Russian MBTs, but I've definitely been gravitating towards Heavies the past couple of months.

I felt that a lot of the light tanks were easier to play during the new physics changes, it helps to have the new hand brake to avoid shots.

Aww OP upset because his OP for tier tank, no longer as OP. Too bad. On a side note, I've learned just fine how to drive faster tanks with the new physics.

The new physics sucks for light players.

Physics was a definite nerf to many LTs, most specifically top-heavy LTs with high turn rates. It's now impossible to pull some maneuvers they were previously able to.

This is not debatable. This is a fact.

I've played my Pz 1 C quite a few times since the new physics and never flip the tank since I'm very conscious of how I control it knowing the limits of its speed vrs when it will flip. I played in training rooms with quite a few of my fast tanks back during the 9.14 test server to get the hang of it and having played War Thunder it didn't take me long to get used to things.

I had a hilarious new physics moment in my PzIc, I was doing a circle of death on a medium tank and rolled over right as his gun caught up with me, the roll let me dodge the shot and continue plinking him to death. If only I had saved the replay. :teethhappy:

I have found that with the new physics, fast, light tanks become unstable driving over any type of terrain.

I have had my RU have its tail kick out over the slightest bump at speed.

I am not sure why they went ahead with the physics settings they have, but it needs refinement.

How are you [edited] flipping your tanks so dam much? Still haven't learned sharp turns on the sides of hills is a bad idea? Now granted I don't play fast tanks all that much but I only rolled once and that is because of trying to turn sharply while going full speed down hill.

Well your German Kung Fu is strong.

Interestingly enough while playing with some clan mates on the test server in training rooms one of them fired their E100 at my Pz1c as I rounded a corner too sharply rolling it and the shot missed. I rolled back on my tracks and kept on going.

GTA style physics are pretty troll on LTs and even some TDs for some odd reason, I even managed to make my T10 bounce up in the air like a ball once taking only a little bit of damage :amazed:
