The problem with the new physics is it doesn't take into account tank weight -even a "light" tank like the ru251 still weighs 25 tons, 5 tons for the pz1c. Compare that to 1-ish tons for your average 4x4.

Oh, and the pz1c deserves a nerf anyhow. A 7.92 machine gun shouldn't butter through steel armor, pure fantasy. Just looked that particular round up: 5 mm (0.20 in) of steel at 100 m (109 yd) and 3 mm (0.12 in) at 600 m (656 yd)

Don't play it anymore but I know what you mean, have the same problem with my Luchs.

and other lights for that matter.

Odd I'm using the Luchs just fine.  Just got a 1.1k damage and 1.9k spotting damage game in it, and I spent plenty of time zipping around.

How are you [edited] flipping your tanks so dam much? Still haven't learned sharp turns on the sides of hills is a bad idea? Now granted I don't play fast tanks all that much but I only rolled once and that is because of trying to turn sharply while going full speed down hill.

That's what I am wondering. I drive mainly light tanks and have had no problems at all staying upright.

To some the patch was a nerf

to others it was a buff.

I've done a lot better after the patch with my lights.  You have to just adapt to the new methods and figure it out.  Read the terrain more and learn how to prevent a roll or sometime even just go with it to prevent a partial roll and get stuck.  The quick turning ability has saved me more than a few times too.

It's something you've got to get used to.  But once you've mastered it, it can be a big help.

I've been driving my luchs a lot recently and it actually seems to have gotten better since the patch.

I could be wrong but isn't that the pen of the mg 34 round?  the pz1c used a special 7.92x94mm not the mg34's 7.92x57mm

7.92x57mm on left, 7.92x94mm on right.

Yall must be driving your lights really badly. I mostly play light tanks and have only flipped maybe 2 times when I wasn't trying to, both involving a rock or a bump in the ground.

Not according to wikipedia. It had the mg13 with the std mauser round, a ww1 era mg converted from water cooled.

Aww OP upset because his OP for tier tank, no longer as OP. Too bad. On a side note, I've learned just fine how to drive faster tanks with the new physics.

I'm sure you can drive them just as fast kid... :P

Reread looking for pz 1c, it's different from pz 1.  section titled: sister tanks

qoute from wikipedia:

The Ausf. C boasted a completely new chassis and turret, a modern torsion-bar suspension and five Schachtellaufwerk-style interleaved roadwheels.[28] It also had a maximum armor thickness of 30 millimeters (1.18 in), over twice that of either the Ausf. A or B, and was armed with an EW 141 semi autocannon, with a 50 round drum, firing 7.92mm anti-tank shells.

I stand corrected. Very interesting, thanks. I'm actually interested in this stuff, above and beyond this game.
It still overpens, looks like the ew141 round would pen 24mm, not 33/43. Also, it had a rate of only 100rpm, not 181.82.

I still love it, the new physics lets you get to cool places and helps with evading around corners

just the other day I was the only left on my team and I managed to evade like 5 tanks long enough to kill their arty in an epic powersliding machine gun drive by. But yes I have been flipping a lot too

Look, there are three reasons to play the Pz 1C.

1. To get to the Luchs (acceptable)

2. Because it is fun (acceptable)

3. I want to seal club and stat pad and drive new players out of the game (uninstall please)

and basically the only people whining about new physics are the #3's.

seal club in a tank with no armor that can't pen half its tier let alone the 4s and 5s it sees. Riiiiiiight.

I seem to do just fine in mine...and I'm comparatively a seal.

yes so if you wanted to seal club yous want to do it in an OP tank. Like maybes t127 or the ok t18. I wouldn't call pz1c OP

If they are actually "good", they dont need an OP tank as proven by numerous seal clubbers in non-OP tanks over and over again harvesting tomato juice in lower tiers.

25mm at 300 yards is within spitting distance if the in-game value. The bigger issue is that the EW 141 was a semi-automatic gun. One click, one bullet. The tungsten fire hose they have in the game now is just one of WG's fantasies.

idk where these "numerous" seal clubbers are, every time I go down to low tiers I see maybe 2-3 greens per game tops. Besides being good and seal clubbing aren't the same thing. You can be good and just enjoy low tiers without intentionally clubbing in an OP low tier tank running a full premium loadout with a 3 skill crew. That's sealclubbing
