Hello, all.

I looked around a little for this answer, but didn't manage to find it... I found a thread here, though, where they kinda-sorta-not-really answered it.

They said "It gives 5% boost to all crew skills affecting view range, loading time, aiming time, signal range, vehicle acceleration." But does this mean a literal 5% increase in loading time/aiming/etc? I guess this could be sorta related to this question: How much does crew training affect performance? Is the reloading time for a 50% crew twice as long as for a 100% crew? I would assume not, so this is what brings up the question... how much is 5% REALLY helping performance? Because if it is actually helping everything 5%, then I think that would be worth it... however, if it only increases loading/aiming time/etc like 1%, then I'll spend my creds elsewhere.

Thanks!

The table there should answer your questions.

Great! Tyvm for the links! I have never looked at the wiki... looks like I'll be spending some time browsing through there :) And yup, that chart answerd my question, Colin. Turns out it is 4.7% performance increase (still enough for me to get it).

it blows a fan in the crews faces. Nothing like a cool breeze.

This is why you should have Improved Ventilation on your tanks:

Something else to think about is that 5% per crew increase is only going to get you closer to your tanks garage stats and never beyond them.

Those stats are the ones for a 100% crewed tank with rammer, vent and gold rations.

Ok, now according to the first link posted, the ventilation improves overall tank performance by 4.7%... does this mean that pretty much EVERYTHING is 4.7% better? Like, is reloading is 4.7% faster, aiming is 4.7% faster, the tank turns 4.7% faster, the tank accelerates 4.7% faster, etc? If so, that would be pretty sweet...

It's also good to use while training your crews up to 100%. For example, when I have a crew I've moved up to the next tank in the tree and retrained them in silver to 90%, I slap on vent until they reach 100. The difference is quite noticable.

Depending on the tank, once the crew is back to 100% I may drop 10 gold and pull the vent off to use elsewhere if I need the slot for a different module.
