Tier 5 is the first really fun tier, go there and spend a lot of time.

Tier 4 can still be fun with the right tanks though, I have a few i still play quite often because I enjoy them and they can still be useful against tier 6 tanks. T-28, Matilda, Hetzer are a few of those. When you get more experience it gets easier. Which ever tier you play in, it really helps to have good crews (100%+) and elited tanks to do well.

Don't give up until you've tried a few different lines at tier 5.

Join a clan - the help from them might be what you need - good luck.

With so few battles of experience you have so much to learn yet.  You may be being rash.  This is a very deep and complex game with many subtleties to it.  Your tier IV tanks seem to be mostly scouting tanks and engaging/firing at the enemy is not really what they are intended to do. Instead, they are supposed to scout/find/light up the enemy tanks and that's where a light scouting tank can earn a lot of silver coins and XP, not by firing the gun, which is usually a weak pea-shooter anyway.

Your Garage shows a tier VIII, tier VII and tier VI tank that honestly are over your head, as with higher tier tanks you are trying to compete vs. players that many times have years of experience and 25,000+ battles of experience.

Are you watching any W.o.T. videos to help you improve?

Very good advice, I can tell you from experience, don't play a higher tier premium until you've actually ground regular tanks to that tier and doing well in them.  Don't expect to shoot tier 6 tanks with a tier 4 light. If you're going to play lights, do some studying as they are one of the hardest classes to do well in for a new player.

Im tired of shooting at tier 6 tanks with my tier 4, All they are trying to do is force us into buying money.

One T6 unit here and the rest are T5 and T4.  So don't know what you're talking about.  Sometimes in a T4 scout I wonder, in a primarily T7/6 match, "What am I doing here?"  And once past that I start doing my best to answer that.  By staying alive, helping to scout, distract, plink away at the backsides and maybe, sometimes, even get to kill a couple of units like me on the other side.  If you can't handle that and can't handle the grind to get to T10, then you should go.  Seriously, there's only one thing worse than a truly awful and disruptive player; one with no hope who despairs of even marginal success and so mentally gives up before the timer reaches zero.

Good luck and hope you enjoy some other game more!

Tier 4 is kind of bad because you get a lot of tier 5 and 6 battles because of how the mm system works.  Tier 5 is much better for getting top tier battles and you get to feed on many tier 3 and 4 tanks you will see very often.  You get fewer bottom tier matches at tier 5 compared to tier 4 and 3.  Tier 6 is not too bad either and you will be top tier a lot and even when in a tier 8 battle, there will be rental noobs and premium noobs to feed on so that helps as well.  Tiers 7 and 8 are fine as long as you are not in a tier 9 or 10 battle where you are cannon fodder (there seems to be a larger power jump from tier 8 to 9 tanks compared to most other tiers).  But, it gets expensive to run tier 9 and 10 tanks with a non-premium account so there is that.

I have a lot of fun playing the tier IV M8A1.  Playing against tier VI doesn't bother me at all when I'm in that TD.  When else can I use my little rollerskate td to give a T-150 the circle of death?

Thank you all for the helpful responses, Just to anwser some of your questions aswell:

-I watch cpt Canda and Quickybaby and sometimes a little bit of Jingles

-I play WoT blitz, and I have to say im a fairly decent player on there (5.5k battles 56% wr 1150 avg dmg)

-I have a general idea of how the game works coming from blitz, (Side scraping, Angling) etc.

You probably would want to get a KV1-S, KV-1 if you like side-scraping.  Those tanks will be top tier a lot and you get to bully a lot of tier 3 and 4 tanks.  At tier 6, the T-150 is the best side scraper and has 7 degrees of gun depression which is greater than what most Russian tanks have.
