That the IS3 sucked. I pulled up the guys stats and he has 20k games and 150 WN8. He apparently isn't a bot but I'm not completely convinced....

IS-3 is garbage tank, it only bounces 75% of what's thrown at it. I was led to believe it would bounce everything.

Have to agree, IS-3 is over rated, not a really good heavy.

I don't like the IS-3. I do much better in my Tiger2. However Russian bias as it is makes you play the damn think. One of those, "If you can beat them join them". Just look at the DPM numbers for ANY med tank that isn't Russian. Nothing competes, not even the batchat. Same with armored numbers. Nothing competes until you get to the E5 then that's still marginal compared to either the IS4 or IS7. Spaced armor is the way to go.

am i the only one who hated it? the hull armor is pretty meh unless you're top tier, the turret has a big overmatch spot on the roof and it's made of ammo racks. seriously i had so many ammo rack issues. only good thing is the troll side armor but is-7 does that better without the ammo rack issues and now is-6 has pretty troll sides too.

Translates as "Same tier opponents can sometimes pen my front q.q  It doesn't matter that I have the most armor and alpha of any same tier heavy, and has about the same pen, all while being the fastest, I want to be invincible!"

I haven't gotten it because I don't play heavy tanks much, but I've been enjoying the kv-85, kv2, and t-150.

No, no.  It can only bounce all the shells from OTHER nations.  Stronk russian shells cancel out stronk russian armor so those penetrate sometimes.

I prefer my Tiger II over my IS-3 by several margins and even then I still prefer my 110 which can shrug off gold rounds if played properly. The only reason why I would really prefer to use the IS-3 over those 2 tanks is because of the godlike side armor for T10 matches for the lols

The Tiger II is made out of paper well that's probably because you don't know how to use it and you keep brawling with it instead of staying at mid range and hiding your LFP.

 

And well, who even cares about the armor when you have all that HP anyway and that gun with what is that .3 dispersion like that's just OP
