hello all! Ive played tanks on and off for awhile now, but ive played a lot the few months. Im getting to the point where a lot of my crews r hitting 100% and im starting to pick skills and perks. Can anyone give me their opinions on best skills and perks orders for these tanks? Light: M41 bulldog and pz 1 c. Medium: Cromwell, M4 sherman, and matilda. Heavy: T32, T29, T1 Heavy, and O-I Exp. TD: Hellcat. Arty: Grille. Thank you!!!

For first skills keep it simple.

Lights/Mediums/TD you listed = Camo for all crew

Heavies = Repairs for all crew

Arty = Sell it and put that crew into a real tank using gold to keep them at 100%. Never play arty, save yourself a lot of grief and avoid any and all arty play.

Generally I do the following.

All crew go with camo for lights, arty,  most TDs and mediums.

Repair for heavies, slow armored TDs and heavier mediums.

After they hey get to 100%, retrain commander to sixth sense.

Thanks for the advice guys! Very simple and helpful! only one question, what does the commander start with and why retrain the commander? If they are all 100%, should i just start with sixth sense?

Do not start with 6th sense because it is a perk that will only come into effect when you reach 100%.  Have your commander do the same same training as the rest of the crew (Lights, Med, TD - Cammo; Heavies - Repair).  Retrain to the commander to 6th sense after you reach 100%.

The friendlier time saving advice would also be to search the forums for the many Newcomer's threads on crew skills/perks along with viewing the WoT Wikipedia site on what the skills do. It all comes down to personal preference. The only thing you should know that is universal is to reset new skills for Perks and not train a perk from 0-100% because it's not in use until it's 100%.

this is only good advice to people willing to spend gold however. otherwise the loss of exp to retrain is more wasteful than not having an active skill for ~80 battles.

I don't see most players being able to get 105k XP in ~80 battles, before their skill reaches 100%.
