I just want to add my +1 to saying that the "high-tier" advertisement was misleading and feels dishonest.  Please be more clear in your intent next time, or if you have something planned for what the community considers high tier, please let us know now.

I 100% wholeheartedly agree, entirely misleading, I know many players who altered their play for the past week in anticipation of a sale; calling tier VII high tier is outrageous.  I had planned to buy two Russien IX and Xs and also a Tier VIII premium, that wont happen how.

Another fail by Wargaming NA after the failed 5th anniversary.  No tier 8 regular and premium tank discounts for the NA server yet the other servers get tier 8 regular and premium discounts?  Just when I thought I might spend some money on this game again.  I guess I'll keep spending money on non Wargaming products.

I swear it seems that Wargaming is trying to drive away the World of Tanks customers on the NA server.

Tier 6 & 7 are not high tier. What happened there WG staff? Did you people forget the numerical values in your game? Just when we start hoping, WG drops the ball and stares at their wall of stupid. This just wallows in lameness.

So should I bother waiting if they might change their mind? I was gonna buy the Obj 140 with the discount :(

Might as well get it right now since no discount so I can buy the permanent camo discounted.

I was planning on purchasing the E100, ST-I, T-54, and M103 over the course of the next few weeks and save a few million credits. I guess I now will just cancel my premium account subscription instead. When you say things like "high tiers", please mean tier 8+. To most players that pay attention to these discounts, tier 6-8 are the mid tiers and 9+ are high tiers. I'm starting to get real tired of how misleading your marketing has become Wargaming, please change this trend or you're going to lose players.

Here we go again....

WG no tier 8-10 discounts? And false "high tier" discount advertising?

Disappointed.

While I'm a little bummed that high-tier machines aren't covered I already have so many crews to revise that it's probably a blessing.

Apropos people suggesting that WG have been misleading with their advertising, this isn't the first time - they have form.

In the recent past there have been bundles with the headline being 'x'% off <insert tank name>; when you follow the link, you find that the tank is in fact bundled and with the bundled rubbish, you are in fact saving a much smaller amount than whatever 'x' was.

Apparently, since they are still doing it, there are no sanctions for misleading consumers in the US?

Edit: look at the premium T54 bundle recently announced: classic case. They're even being misleading with the big 'free' next to the garage slot as this implies it's something special (it isn't - all premium tanks include a slot).

I've been playing since 2011. Finally, after all this time, researched the T-62A. Save up roughly half the money needed, and then the T49 went on sale and bought that. Saved up roughly half the money needed, then the STA-1 went on sale and I bought that. Finally I see a Soviet tank sale and I sit here grinding for hours to get to 2.5 million credits again, thinking I'm getting close to how much the T-62A is going to be on sale for. Nope. After four years I'm still not going to have a tier 10. And even the Indien-Panzer isn't going to be on sale, so I can't blow my saved up money on that after this Soviet sale passes.

I hate to say it, but you would never get a T-62A for 2.5 million credits.  (Did you mean 2.5 million more credits than you had?) Even if they put tier Xs on sale, it would be at most 15% off, so you'd need 5 million credits and change.

Aside from this being disappointing (I was hoping to pick up some tier 8 vehicles this month), there isn't even a mission for tier 8 vehicles.  I mean, the low/mid tier stuff will be on sale, tier 9 and 10 will have a crew XP mission, and tier 8 gets nothing.

Please, WG, extend the sale on regular vehicles to tier 8.

The issue comes down to if WG had never used the words "high tier" or "rare" in their announcements, people would just have been slighting disappointed (no worse than usual) and chalk it up to another meh sale.  But when WG used those words and the entire community change their playing pattern for the past week in excitement and anticipation (burning up personal reserves, grinding for credits, buying discounted golds). THEN WG drop the bomb, instead of just merely disappointed, players become angry.
