If you don't like the stock sounds, I've made a semi-reconstruction of Gnomefather's gun sound mod. It's not a perfect recreation, and still a WIP, but I'll make it available here for now.
Please note that I don't plan on doing a full reproduction because his mod was very big and used to cause performance issues on my laptop, and also due to my fairly limited capabilities. This one is much smaller, and should not cause as much issues with loading.
Latest Update: Updated for basic compatibility with 9.17

Please let me know if there are any bugs.
Installation Instructions
- Unzip contents of the folder "sound mod" into res_mods/0.9.16
Notes
1) No long range gun sounds like in the old mod.
2) Limit of 200 sounds per soundbank if using free WWise.
3) Since I mod some of my vehicle visual models, some of them may look slightly different (Tiger with short 88 when equipped with long 88). Let me know if anything was changed that I accidentally left in.
BONUS: Blitzkrieg Voice Mod
Uses the rather good voice-acting from the 2003 RTS Game Blitzkrieg by Nival Interactive (considering they are all played by Russians trying to masquerade as Germans, Americans, and Brits).
To install: extract folders to res_mods/0.9.17.0.1/audioww
IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to a lack of one-to-one correspondence between the voice lines of Blitzkrieg and WoT, some events in WoT will not have a voice line associated them if you use this mod (i.e., damaged gun, damaged optics, etc.), although most of the actually important ones have a line.
