I have over 35,000 battles in WOT, and am a loyal, long term player.  I have played in perhaps over 50 tournaments over the nearly 4 years in WOT.   I almost always play with other very experienced players.

It is apparent that WOT is putting on more tournaments than they can manage, and cheating is now going unrestrained.   We've been in two tournaments in a row now where the opposing team violated the conditions of the tournament, we submitted screen shots per the dispute rules, and got bupkis.   Nothin.

This is very unsettling and really ruins the tournament experience.   I won't be playing any more tournaments...as cheaters prosper......

You are surprised by their inaction and allowance of cheating and rigging? I guess you don't remember the whole T-22 fiasco.

Yeah you're right.....i do tend to get upset when you play by the rules and then others cheat, and get away with it...perhaps in your world - that's ok to be a cheater and it's just the way it is....but if I'm spending money, I expect a product to be as represented....

I don't know if you are or not...but with your attitude that cheating doesn't matter and there should be no enforcement against cheaters - I wouldn't be surprised if you did.....

Bit touchy about it. Does make a person wonder why it matters so much to you if you aren't. Fact is WG doesn't care about cheating as long as there is not a deal made about it. When they do have to do something it the punishment is such limp wristed it is a total joke. Spend money, don't get caught cheating and WG doesn't care.

I can understand your frustrations with cheaters and the lackadaisical policing of them by WG.

Screen shots don't do bupkis according to WG's long and tedious reporting system, and since screenshots aren't used, they flat out ignored your dispute.

Leaving tournaments isn't going to get anything changed. All it will do is rob yourself of gold.

Make sure you read the rules for filing a dispute, follow them, and keep reporting the cheaters. Also continue to complain about the entire stupid process and maybe things will get changed (like here).

Cheaters gonna cheat, on of the reason I play as little as I do. You think it's bad in tourneys get a load of it in public matches. Aimbots, Warpack, none of the banned stuff are enforced. Its sickening.

What was the nature of the cheat?

So far all I got from this post is you're upset someone cheated but you haven't explained what the cheat is and how you know they were cheating.

EXACTLY RIGHT.   We submitted multiple screenshots from two battles in a row where the other team violated tournament conditions, and fully comply with the "Dispute" submission rules.   Bumkis.

It's a joke.  I believe they have so many tournaments going, they can't manage them all effectively.....

And this isn't just a one off.  Our last tournament we were in last month - same issue....Sad....this game USED to be great for tournaments, now it's a rules free circus where cheaters run rampant....

It took you this long to realize that these things are rigged and run by the golden fair haired children of the week, month, etc?  Been knowing this since I joined and hey, it's no different than many other games.

The weekend warrior tournament required the teams to have no more than one tank per country.  We played a team who for two battles in a row fielded two tanks from one country.

I mean if it matters that much I can email you my replays in which I play with a vanilla clienr.

What makes me edgy is that everything is cheating these days because those who lose to a "cheater" can't accept that they were outplayed no matter in what game or environment.

thats not cheating but it is DQ viable. I wouldn't have gotten edgy if you stated that. Submit a ticket with screenshots and the team will get a guaranteed disqual.

How do you know that nothing was done about it by WG ?

Are you talking about last night ?   (5/27/16)   If so, maybe wait a bit for result.

The penalty for what they did would be to disqualify them for those two battles... how do you know that didn't happen (or is not going to happen) ?

I did. And submitted it twice with two different sets of screenshots.  Bumkis.......I'm surprised you condone cheating.....I hope you follow the rules when employing road cratering charges or when demo'ing buildings.....

Because the cheating is still moving forward in the tournament...

Yes, it is cheating, don't make excuses for them. If the rules state no more than one tank per country and you bring more than one tank for a given country, that's cheating. It's not cheating the game mechanics, but it is cheating the rules of the tournament. Any form of violation of the rules (either game rules or tournament rules) falls into the category of "cheating".
