So my frames keep going crazy up and down, is there a way to set it to only one number of FPS so it doesn't exceed a certain limit? Please help!

yes. vsync. i think the default is 60 fps bc its what most ppl's monitors are atm. This prevents your fps from getting over 60. however, if its below, well, theres nothing it can do. thats just how much your computer can put out

If you have nvidia, there a settings in its control panel too which can override whatever you set in game (to enable vsync that is)

Wot has some hard cap at 125 - 127 bc of its game engine limitations

Wait, I found vertical synchronization. Does that make it 60 FPS? Or is there something else I need to do?

pretty much.

Theres also a display refresh rate. you can set that to whatever you want it to cut the fps to.

You may need to restart the game for it to take effect

Also, if you can't get 60fps by itself, it won't increase it to 60. Just sets a limit.

Lower your graphics details until you can stay above 60 frames, then turn on vsync.
