I recently purchased a brand spanking new Obj 430 v2.  I love this tank!  But...

It is too darn expensive to play!

Admittedly, I don't run with a premium account, but have had some good games and noticed that even with premium I would have lost credits.  I have not got my ace tanker, yet, but have got a number of first and second class results, in winning games, and lost a lot of credits!

Just today, I had a 1st class game, survived, and was on the winning side.  I used four heat rounds, all of which did damage, allowing me to destroy an E100.  I had four kills, 3528 damage, and 1181 base exp.  All this is pretty good, for me.  But the result?  I lost 24,598 credits!

So, my feedback to WG is to review the cost of running different tanks and maybe do some re-balancing.

The cost of playing tier 9 and 10 tanks is deliberate.

WoT wants you to buy at least 1 tier 8 premium to generate revenue.

Almost 5000 credits per shot with those HEAT rounds.

Partially true, however the larger reason is that it forces people into mid-tiered tanks for credit generation which ensures that there's usually always plenty of people playing mid tiers.

Otherwise, everyone would just get their Tier 10s and never play anything else, new players / people working on new lines would have nobody to play against and the game would die.

24 shots fired, 21 hit and only 13 pen. I know that you only fired 4 HEAT but the other AP rounds that didn't pen also caused you credits. Plus you got shot 6 times, and that counts towards repair bill.

you didn't pen half your shots. that's your problem

i almost always make money in my 9s and 10s unless i am spamming gold the entire game

I pretty much make money in all my Tier 9-10's, as long as I'm not using premium rounds or consumables... All depends on how to play them!

The 430 II has terrible ammunition economy. I play mine, a lot and it's a great tank, but the ammo costs 1230 per shot, that's more than western 105mm's and the soviet 122mm's, and it hits for 70-120 less alpha and its penetration is far worse, usually in the 40+ range worse. Thus, you bounce a lot of shots and don't get alpha in when you do pen, realistically you might as well fire HEAT since you're gonna bleed credits anyway. I ran a 30-20-0 ammo mix when I was going for my 3 marks and made money about 50% of the time with a prem account. In comparison, I make good money almost every match in my other tier 9's, provided I don't play terribly.
