Another wonderful day at WOT.  I was in 32 battles, 4 of which I had a XVM chance to win of better than 50%.  We won all four.  The others the average chance to win was 34%.  We lost every one but 2 by a score no better than 15-5.

Just wanted to leave my feedback that the match making sucks and needs improvement.  I'm doing this everyday now and am writing my percentages down.  Do you Russians need math and statistics lessons?  Do they teach statistics in Russian colleges?  There is this thing called a bell curve where 80% of everything should fall within that bell curve.  Like maybe 80% of all battles should give someone a chance of say 44-56% chance to win.  And battles like 24% chance to win are like 50-1 odds against drawing that chance.

Please look this up in math books.  If you need Im sure someone here in the US can send you one.

or...hear me out...you ignore XVM and play the best you can, that win percentage was nothing but trouble, and because of that I don't run mods anymore

lol, mm is a cruel mistress, I cannot buy a win either.

Keeping stats on XVM is pointless, it dont change a thing by the way.

Turn off chance to win. You'll be less affected by it. It becomes like a self fulfilling prophecy when you see that you'll probably lose.

Get better......

XVM just pools up a teams player stats.

soooooo

if you get better, then you will be placed on more winning teams.... cause you are now much higher in the equations....

just sayin..

Agreed- MM stinks. The only ones who want to keep the current system are those who benefit from the brokenness of it. They always troll those who voice concern.

Each team should have a reasonable chance to win. That is what WG says is their goal in their FAQ. MM doesn't do that. It needs to be fixed.

You do understand what the term Random in Random Battle means, right? Go read up (or watch WG vids) on how the Matchmaker works.

How can any one player benefit from the random nature of the MatchMaker? Good players win more because they do more.

What xvm chance to win does, is only take player skill into account, That's it.

It doesn't take what tier their tanks are in or even what kind of tank they're in. A unicum is a lot scarier in a top tier medium than in a bottom tier heavy. And yet the chance to win would be the exact same thing. Some maps are friendlier to super heavies than open maps. XVM chance to win doesn't take tank types or maps into account.

Basically, there's too many factors for xvm chance to win to be something worth considering. And like I posted earlier. It becomes self fulfilling. Sometimes when a players sees they have a low chance to win, they give up before that countdown is even over.
