thought platooning was fixed in 9.15...you didnt do enough, still getting fail toons. The rule should read no more than 2 tier split from the highest tier im seeing 7's in a 10 and thats just going to keep the whiners running in forums, the TKing going and so on, silly WG nubs didnt fix a darn thing, too lazy i guess. If your going to allow tier 7 in tier 10 then i should get to play my tier 10 in a tier 7 battle. the horrors! got it now WG nubs?

the thing WG doesn't seem to understand about people who failtoon is that they don't give 2 fks about a penalty.  If WG truly wanted to end failtooning then they would have simply put a hard cap on toons based on the leader.  Simple, and done.  WG chose to go some extravagant route to fix a simple problem and it ended up being worthless.  GG WG

now days a fail toon is a tier 7 light and a normal 8 , both are 8-10 mm but you get no bonus  .  run a 8 ''9-11'' light and a preferred 8 ''8-9''and bam ! get a xp bonus for a fail toon !  fixed ? na id say its even more broken , ive seen more lights running with prefs since this update due to broken xp bonus = more fail toons

^ This.

WG thinks it's playerbase is smart enough to obey a passively set recommendation via rewards, but not smart enough to platoon according to final MM battle scope, instead of plain tier.

A lot of the things WG has done is quite dumb, but as far as ideas go this was pretty much complete negligence and blatant ignorance on the part of solving a problem. I understand WG is too big, international, bureaucratic, and inefficient to funnel good ideas at a decent pace... but what on earth allowed this idea to slip through?

I think the idea WG had was fine. At least they did SOMTHING. I just feel it needs some tweeks. I think the penalties should be even higher and the issue with scouts is a problem.

Yeah, at least they did something. I will take the penalty over NO action at all. T-22's...cough cough...

I'm sorry but this is...a wrong way to look at it.  As far as them doing "something" that is.  WG is a multi-million dollar company.  They have the money and resources to have gone about this with thought and care and actually have solved a problem.  Doing "something" when you can actually simply fix a problem is = to doing nothing if you ask me.

A rather extreme example that came to mind is this:  If you own a bank and i'm your security adviser and i tell you i can keep out the bad guys and solve your problems, and then go put up a baby fence designed to keep toddlers from going down hallways, is that solving anything?  Even though i did "something"?

As i said, my example is a bit extreme but in my mind WG did nothing but put up a baby fence that people just step right over.

tier X arties and scout tier VIII should have no penalty,  , there's  no tier X scout, but still get  penalty.Dont think its a good way to fix fail platoon. but the worst is tier I and X platoon, what a bunch of moron. People get cranky in battle for no reason, imagine if you fail platoon that

way :O
