Several times in the past few days when going to defend our point i roll around the corner and hit a tank and it does 0% defense on our base. Yes they are on the point and yes it wasent a critical hit with 0% dmg done to the tank. This seems to happen more often in my is4 or Derp KV when you oneshot the tank from 60ish % to dead. I just did 350+ dmg to a tank and usually killed it but it dosent move the red bar back to the left at all.

Just played a match in my KV we should of won. I 1shot 2 mediums that where on our point but it did not hault their cap at all.

Yet i can hit something on our point in a Ram2. do about 15% dmg to it and get rid of 30+% of their cap.

if he was not the only guy in the cap, definitely. 1 tank might have been in there for 55% of that 60, and the last tank only had 1-2 points of cap on him. You shot the guy with low cap points, and thus it did almost nothing, and thus you didn't even notice it. That's the best I can come up with,.

Never encountered this before, Unless screen shot is provided I'll just tell you that tankboy is probably right.

Only takes 3 tanks to maximize a cap, so if there were more than 3 tanks on the cap it won't move much, if at all. Also if it's already hit 100% and been there for a few seconds sometimes it won't drop, so unless you finish off everyone capping you're going to lose.

killing 2 mids on the cap with a derp. Yes the first one i could see having just gotten there and it not doing much. But they wher both there before the first shot. Thats a good 25seconds+ reload time the 2nd one was on the cap.

That should of been more than 0%

Also the cap wasent at or near 100% there was a mid on my team there aswell pinging away at them keeping the % around 70. After he died i 1shot the guy that had been there for a good 30 seconds and it did nothing.

So these were the only tanks left? You know for sure there weren't any others on the cap?

If the capping text ends in a ! then it will not change.  The only way to win at this point is to kill every one of there tanks.  But unless the last tank is on the cap this rarely happens

The percentage that is substracted from the total of capture points is the amount of capture points that the enemy you damaged had gathered.

Basically, when you hit a enemy that is in the capture circle, all his/her points are gone. So if you hit someone who had recently entered the capture circle, you might not reduce the total capture points a lot, since you damaged/killed the player with the least capture points. However, if you hit the one with the most capture points, then you get a bigger capture points reduction. Also, if a tank is hit by an ally, it's capture points are all gone, so if you hit it again, you will only take the few capture points it collected after loosing all his/her capture points. So if you're trying to prevent a capture on your base, instead of focusing on one guy, "share the pain" :Smile-playing:
