SPGs stunning with little damage.

Trying to give purpose to each class of vehicles.

Trying to make every type of ammo have a purpose.

Trying to make armor useful again.

Nerfing view ranges of some classes.

The real reason Sandbox was done, not because they care about their players. They terrified of the other game stealing disgruntled players who wish there is more competition in this genre.

Found the OP:

AW is effectively dead on NA, and this is coming from someone who plays that game.

You got it wrong, the other game is growing while WoT servers are dying.

Once they release this frankenstein update, watch how the flock will migrate to the other game.

WoT days are numbered.

Oh yes, AW is growing when there's consistently less than 10-15 people in the PvP queue during primetime and ~25-30 in the PvE queue. Wow, such growth. More than triple those numbers were online when the NA server opened. AW is effectively dead here.

This other game is an undeniable failure while they improved upon this game they made so many mistakes on their own that they are doomed. WG is simply taking what had worked from the other game like it had done from this and using that to cut corners in this one. Will the game be any better only time will tell but knowing WG and their need to milk certain cows that are financially loaded the game will always remain broken with the endless revolving door of buffs and nerfs. In the end we will always end up back where we started with only the details of each outcome being different in some way from the last.

I will play until the servers are shut down... You just adapt to the current meta or become disgruntled. I prefer to adapt.

Personally I am a bit disappointed about the arty changes because I actually enjoy playing it. However I'll probably change my mind on that one the first time I get hit by a T92 and am not instantly vaporized.

Changes to the rest of the classes to solidify their roles is a great idea, it does get a bit tiring trying to complete LT15 when being out spotted by mediums and having TDs spotting for their own damage.

Another acolyte of the faith. Poor soul thinks, grand ideas of WoT will be executed as intended. But you forget two great things.

1. WoT purpose is to siphon money from loyal idiots.

2. They have to make the game frustrating so people spend money thinking X prem tank or gold ammo going to solve their problems.

I don't care if you break the NSA, but you might. The only more dead than AW is the family cat.

1.  The purpose of a business is to be profitable.  WoT is a product made by Wargaming, a business.  So....you are correct that it is to make profits, but it is up to the consumer to purchase.

2.  This all has to come down to "perceived value" of a tank or a mechanic of the game.  Gold ammo is tossed out because it can be purchased with credits.  If someone feels that it is valuable to purchase a tank for $35, why should you care differently when someone wants to spend over $50 on a shirt?  Or $45 on a plate of food?  It's perceived value.

I hope you realize that sandbox is just a way for war gaming to test their ideas, a lot of which probably won't make it anywhere

Because WoT also proved they love to bait and switch once they fatten their coffers. And loyal acolytes get alzheimer's and get suckered all over again.

Fool me once, shame on you, Fool me twice, shame on me.

I never had this problem since I never paid a cent, but sure enjoy reading the suckers who got screwed by X prem being changed or replaced.

Again, sources?

Your opinions cannot be used as fact.

I talk about perceived value, so you insult the player base for accepting that perceived value to play the game and spend money on it.

X prem being changed or replaced is part of the game.  It's stated in the EULA, so accept it.  The Waffle 100 got replaced by a more usable and reliable tank in the Grille.  The FV4202 got replaced by the Action X, another solid switch.  I fail to understand your last statement but because you never spent any money on it or perhaps don't have a premium, you wouldn't understand what you are talking about because you have no practical experience in the matter.

You also seem to have a number of battles in premium tanks.  Granted some may have been from rentals, but you are making yourself harder to believe when you claim that you never paid a cent into the game, yet have several premiums in your garage.

i cant even get a game in AW....

And OP you must be joking AW is trying its best to mimic WOT . They progressivly kill that game patch after patch. The forums are filled with rage because their balance is dreadful.i even wrote an article about what was wrong with WTDs and a community contributer liked it so much he passed it on to the devs.

Who pretend to care but dont.

How about half of this forum whineing about clones of tanks being sold as premiums (even when they are different). Yet over at AW its ok for them to sell the SAME exact tank with a new paint job and you eat them up like tacos

I cant play AW, my PC wont run it, lol.

Not that i care, anyway, all the tanks I want to play are on WoT. Almost NONE of the tanks I want to play are on AW. Of course, I could go back to "that another game" but for a reason I'm here, LOL.

This game could be frustrating sometimes, but it is very enjoyable, much more if u run it with voice and crew portraits customization. You can do great without spending money, and you can get premium tanks for free. I just get one for joining, one more for Anniversary reward and one more i bought 50% off, great deal :). There is also free golds on tournaments, etc. From my point of view, this game will go on for at least 4 years more, even further with more media partnership like "Girls und Panzer". I actually would love to get some custom tanks from that series for some real money. BTW how do u get Te-ke? There will be ever finnish tanks? Is the movie Centurion tier VIII or tier IX? What about Karl arty?
