recently i've been thinking about how many games are ruined for some tiers due to the excess of tier 10s, the only thing i thought of that i believe the community would enjoy is a possible max limit for some tiers like a max of 5 tier 10s per game etc. This would make games more enjoyable and encourage some people to play tier 8-9 more often and not hate almost every second of it.But this could break mm as people might flood the servers with this tiers... whats your opinion on this

Everybody, this is his FIRST POST.

He is probably frustrated and needs to vent.

Please don't kick him when he is down.

Can we limit the number of tier 8 tanks too so tier 6s don't get frustrated?

Seriously though, all of the major complaints people have with MM are the result of low player population. It simply doesn't do well with the low number of players in NA. If you want to see it improve, convince some friends to play.

More tier 10 = more damage potential. More damage = more exp and credits. If you can't pen just spot and track and take half the exp and credits from those that can.

MM is crap and everyone knows it. It is hardly random as one team is chosen before the other team is chosen. Just get use to it as it wont change. WoT prefers to throw crap together so matches can get over faster. Thinking we want more matches and not better matches. As for the OP. T10s are what they are and you will face them at T8. Just like the -2/+2 works. It would be nice to have a Tier 11 match up for the T9 and 10s since there are more T10s around but meh. It is what it is. As stated before track and run. Also be like Bulba and spam the crap out of gold. :)  Just don't expect to make money. lol.

Yes... to placate tier 10 players who whined that they didn't have enough tier 8's to slaughter.

Quite a bit ago the developers presented some insight to how MM works. It was clear that the game goals, needs and MM priorities are not the same as ours. The MM is first limited by the pool of players it can draw on. If players are dissatisfied and discouraged from playing then clearly this decreases the size of the pool. A downward spiral results as the MM is crippled in this aspect. It is not for the players to change this via getting others to play. The game developers must present a game that is attractive to their customers (yes we are the customers of this product). The other revelations into the working of the MM revealed that a major imperative is to create a match quickly. The goal was to have a MM in 30 sec. or less and never to go past 2 min. So once again the MM is in the position of using whatever it can since this requirement is very near the top of its instruction set. Fast match creation and fast match completion are two goals that push the MM. The developers do not want players waiting around in ques to play. For whatever reasons player rating, tank equipment, and tank crew skills are not part of the participant choice. The developers stated that they want to create a situation where a match can be influenced by one or a few players doing well to make a difference to sort of randomize the outcomes. This fails as we all know because in the unbalanced matches even when one excels it is not enough to carry a different outcome. If the teams were more even overall the a player having one of those great games could make a big difference. I think the developers totally missed the mark on this one. More balanced matches would last longer and this is opposed to what the developers intend for the game. Many players bad mouth XVM and other mods that give an outcome prediction. If you use it and keep track of the correctness of the prediction (I have) you can see that it is correct around 90% of the time when the differences get to 10% or more. The point being that there is data available that could be incorporated for a more skill balanced MM system. It is sad that the developer have resisted for so long evolving a MM system that would provide a more balanced matching. For me when those 60/40-70/30-80/20 games start to roll in, I just log off and stop playing.
