Ah, okay (also, no worries; I'm used to people replying as far as weeks/months late, so 20 minutes isn't late in my book :P ;). I was actually trying to do something like this myself, based off some paint colors listed on hobby sites (for scale models), and ended up with this:

Don't really know if this is correct, so if you have a better color, I can try that out as well.

Looks good, but too green. Here is the color I was looking to use: #9d297e thats not right... rather, #9d927e

This what you were going for? Personally, I think it's a bit too light, but it is a pretty nice color otherwise. Funnily enough, this is actually really close to a couple of older colors I had tried when choosing the yellow/green one I posted previously (on the S35):

I was going for the 'official' color of the french tanks, when they were painted. ( close as I could find ). That looks amazing! Maybe a bit darker though, but that is just about what I want.  (Here is a picture I tried to get the color from)

Think I got it after a bit of fiddling:

Might even make it a bit darker, IDK. Plus, I think this was only a post-war color (so this would work on the LTs beyond the ELC AMX, AMX 50s, etc)

EDIT: tried it on some of the postwar vehicles, and I think it looks pretty good!

Pretty sure this was actually the color the Israelis used for their tanks (the one in the photograph is from the Yad La-Shiryon Armor Museum), but I'm not sure if the French ever used this themselves. Still think it works, regardless, but a color similar to this would probably make more sense:

Again, not really sure, though...

I wish there was a way to just quick quote. Regardless, it looks great and it is exactly what I am looking for. Could you tell me/ possibly make a video or some screenshots of how you did this? If anything even just upload all the HD tanks like that? I am very happy that you got it looking exactly how I wanted

where they that color, or green in real life,

hard for me to tell because my Type 4 Chi-to I've only seen in black and white...

From 1921 to 1945, Imperial Japanese Army used Khaki (Called as "茶褐色" ) as standard color of weapons.

Tanks was painted during the manufacturing process by following order:

1.Anti-corrosive paint (mainly red)

2.Khaki

3.Camo paint

Color example:

Please note: IJA Khaki has some color variations by difference of production period, manufacturers etc, and no "most accurate" color exist.

Ah, ok. Good to know! I'd been having trouble finding info on this kind of stuff; thanks.

Also, thank you @Lt_Saburo_Sakamura for the info on the flag emblems (in another thread). I think I'm going to keep it as an option in the pack, as I like how it looks, but I added a note that it wasn't really historical to both the readme and the OP of the thread. :)

I don't think I have the software (or time) to record a video on it, and screenshots don't really explain it very well, so I think I'll make a pack of all the post-war vehicles (which could've had the possibility of receiving that paint color) like that. I'll probably post that sometime this evening or tomorrow morning, as I'm a little preoccupied for most of today.

Alright, here you go: https://drive.google...NjNaZWVId3N6Y2s

This only applies to the post-war vehicles - starting from AMX ELC, AMX M4, and AMX AC 46, discluding artillery and non-HD tanks (AMX 13 75 & BatChat 25t AP skins included for when patch 9.15.1 hits the live server next week). Might make another forum thread for this, but idunno yet. Enjoy! :)

Whups, just realized I forgot to do an icon mod for the vehicles included in the pack. Uploading now; should be posted in about ~2-3min.

EDIT: Revamped the thread so I don't have to make a new one every time I do a skin mod/pack. Included the French-Israeli color swap in the OP. Here's an updated download link (also in the OP): https://drive.google...M3ZOVS1nRzNFZ2c

Alright, both packs have been updated for 9.15.1, with new links in the OP! A few icons went missing with the patch, so I fixed those as well. Everything should be working smoothly now.

On a side note, here's a few WIPs:

FV304 "Bert the Avenger" (almost finished; not sure what to do about the sides, though, as I'm currently using RanZar's FV304. Credit will be given, obviously, but I need to make sure he's alright with it first)

Großtraktor Krupp - Primer Red Prototype (Probably unhistorical, just started working on it today, currently ironing out the little details [especially on the schürzen plates, suspension, and gun] and color choices)

Awesome work! While that does indeed look like the Israeli base color, I'm not aware of the French themselves ever using it. I was wondering if you could do some sort of Israeli color pack, only changing the base color on tanks used by the Israelis? I could give a vehicle list if you would be interested, as well as provide pictures. I would ask for an Israeli emblem, but there really isn't (the chevrons are tactical symbols, not an emblem of the IDF), and with the number of vehicles across multiple nations, it's not practical or feasible either. That being said, perhaps this could be turned into a nation emblem for WoT so that I could put it on any nation I choose to:

It's technically historical in a way for Israeli armored vehicles, and is the closest there is to an Israeli symbol.

Thank you! I figured most of the vehicles probably weren't used by the Israelis; however, I thought the color looked pretty good on most of the post-war vehicles, hence why I applied that color to all of them. However, I've actually been considering changing it so it would only apply to the vehicles historically used by them, so if you've got a list, that'd be very helpful! Also, I could probably make a mod that would replace the default nation symbol for these vehicles to the one you've provided, but it would either require me to replace either the Beta-or-Alpha-tester symbol, or to edit one of the base game scripts, which usually breaks with every update... However, it certainly isn't impossible, and I'll try to make it work. :P

Thanks again, and I'm looking forward to hearing back from you with the list of vehicles (+ pictures)! :medal:

Alright, thanks @Life_In_Black! I'll try to work on a pack with as many of those vehicles as I have time to make (getting a bit busier lately) in the coming weeks. I'll also try to add the black muzzle brakes, but some of the texture UV maps are more-than-a-bit disorganized, so no guarantees there.

Meanwhile, I realized I hadn't yet updated both packs to 9.15.1.1, so I went ahead and did that. Don't worry, it was only a simple folder name change for the update, so if you already have them working after the micropatch, you probably don't need to redownload.

Also, I moved everything over to a download hub on Box.com, so I don't have to keep going through the super-long OP code and change the download links with every update.
