There is no point in arguing with him.

He's made up his mind that the game is broken, because he does so well in the lower tiers, but not in the higher tiers.

And all this thread is about, is trying to get people to confirm it for him.

You, of course, are correct.

I will no long feed the troll that wants his confirmation bias confirmed.

I appreciate the wake up call.

Oh man, I agree! Go on a losing streak and you start bouncing a lot more and ammo racked more. The game dynamics change so drastically it's amazing this is still on the market.

The fact that you agree with him proves you are clueless, sorry.

How does this affect stacked teams and losing streaks? I've been on a losing streak (sharp trend) all day, many times the enemy team is loaded with G, Chai, Otter, Claws etc. In fact one game had 4 of those clans in it. How does having a better grasp of game mechanics deal with the obvious losing streak problem?

Wants WG to rig WoT so losing streaks don't happen.

Because without actually rigging the matches, there is no way to get rid of losing streaks.

Xvm and win chance followed by entitlement and tinfoil theories.

Yea sure, everyone hates being hit by arty. But you'll find GG enjoy your win, MM rigged, and hax complaints more frequent than arty complaints in battle. Those who deny it, are lying to themselves.

He agrees because clubbing tier 2 is hard.

The feeling of being powerless.

It's all about psychology.  The thing that drives people most crazy in this game is when they feel like the outcome was out of their control.  That's why there's so much ranting about MM.  That's why people rage so much against tanks that are perceived (rightly or wrongly) to be OP.  That's why people hate arty so much.  When you feel powerless to control your fate, you get angry and frustrated, and if this happens too much, you quit.

You know, this makes perfect sense.  It would also cover many of the RNG complaints and the 2 tier spread complaints.

This is a valid point, however, people can't grasp they are bad and blame mm, WG or (insert excuse here).. Today's culture of handholding and saying we are equal is in my mind an issue. If people would see their faults and embrace their badness. Sack up ladies.

Couple this with people not learning and how erratic the server stability can be at times for some(enough latency and it starts making it seem like people are shooting through hills and walls without being able to shoot back), and it quickly gets frustrating.

lack of player skill progression. i dont want to see completely incompetent players in tier 10.  or rather, if there is those players, i want to be in a ladder that they are not.

Long and ridiculous losing streaks are the worst part of the game for me. Honestly, that was what turned me off the game completely. *Now, [when I do play...which I admit isn't often..] if I lose more than 3 battles in a row, I quit and log out. And yes, I do try my hardest in each and every battle.. and I never give up, but I just don't have the patience or the stomach for the 'gaming S&M' anymore.

You have more forum posts than battles get in the game and get good dude stop crying in forums

For me it was between RNG and being bottom tier more often than not.  Things like three or four rounds in a row not penning when they have a 75%+ chance of penning and nonsensical flight of rounds.  Getting consistently bottom tier, had a stretch last time I played of 8 games in a row of being bottom tier, I think I played 20 games, only two of those games was I top tier.

Throwing bad rng and being consistently tiered out MM wise are bad enough, throw in some nonsense arty shot that breaks everything at the very beginning of a game and it makes for an easy decision to spend less time and money on the game.

I'm not leaving but is what makes me most likely to very quickly call it a night (and I know it's the same for many of my friends and clan mates) is arty... playing well driving along and WHAM... 1/2 your HP is gone by something you can't possibly shoot, you "should" be safe from, and didn't even actually hit you...

after that it would be MM... the influx of super bad/bots is amazing and making even higher tiers more difficult to play and completely trash in mid tiers most of the time.

I said Game Stagnation and Rigged MM.

Game Stagnation - The map rotation is utter crap and they keep removing any ability to scout even from maps that used to have it.  Thus pretty much all maps are just turning into corridor/brawling maps, which is great if that's your preferred tank style, but is utter crap for everyone else.  So much fun to drive an LT or paper-armor med/TD and get 5-10 corridor maps in a row.  Really "Map Rotation" should have been a separate option but I guess it falls under game stagnation.

Rigged MM - I'm NOT talking about skill based MM (SBMM), but how they actually balance teams.  SBMM is flat out unrealistic in a game like WOT for a multitude of reasons, but it's beyond retarded for one team to have 2+ more tiers than the other team.  When one team has 2-3 (or more) top tier tanks more than the other you can almost bet on which team is going to win simply because of the health and DPM that comes with that (and armor in case of HTs).  In the same vein but not as game-breaking is when one team has a disproportionate number of a specific tank-type.  Did they really need to give one team most/all of the HTs?  Depending on the tanks involved this one also impacts map rotation.  Give one team most/all of the armored tanks on a corridor map and you (MM) instantly put the other team at a severe disadvantage.

Trying to do SBMM is a nice thought in theory, but is generally bad in practice.  That's basically what SH/CW/tournaments are for.  but SBMM for randoms is just a nightmare.  What happens when your "best" player is doing a stock grind?  What if he's in a tank-type he's bad at?  Seal clubbed for his stats?  Do you base their stats per tank, tank-type, or account? Recent or overall?  How do you prevent people from intentionally bombing their stats to go beat up others (was an issue in Halo 2 SBMM)?  I could keep going, but the point is just that SBMM would be horrible in practice, though that doesn't excuse them from balancing the teams based on tiers and tank-types.
