I finally got the top gun and turret for my pantera. That, was a nightmare.

Also, these crews with the 1 skill you get with premium rentals, are they better than your default-recruit crews?

You get 1 skill crews with your rentals? o.O. Perhaps I'm missing out on something, but they're probably better since my strongest crew doesn't even have their first skill yet.

Hmmm good question. I do not know if rentals come with 100% crews.

Yes. A default crew comes with 50% training so you have to train to 100% then train the skill or perk. A 100% crew starts training the 1st perk/skill you pick the very 1st game. The very best, which you get from events or special premiums, is the Zero Perk crew. They come with the 1st perk fully trained so they, like the 100% crew, start training the 2nd skill the very 1st game you play. Also I have been told, since it is zero perk, they train the 2nd skill at the same rate a 100% crew trains the 1st skill.

But the 100% crew is trained to your premium tank and so cannot operate a tech tree tank except at a penalty.  That crew is only of any real use in the premium it came in, and in other premiums.  You could retrain them, but the cost is the same as recruiting an equivalent fresh crew.  Last night, I dismissed about 20 100% crew members that came with premium tanks, as they were of no use to me, since I used tech tree crews in them in order to benefit from the crew training bonuses..

Exceptions are when they are more than 100%, like a 0-BIA, or if the crew layout of the premium is different than your tech tree tanks, and you need to plug holes when operating the premium.

Edited PS - This should really be in a crew training thread, not a bragging thread.

A bit more fun today in my ISU-152.

I've decided it is keeper... but it still isn't my overall favorite TD at Tier 8. Playing it is a roller coaster... some games nothing can stand before it, others it all but worthless due to it being slow and clumsy with poor gun depression.

Anyway, after acing it yesterday, I got my 1st Mark on it today with a 4.9k damage battle. I'm going to link the replay on the Live Stream thread for no other reason than I pulled off some "Hail Mary" long range shots with the 152mm "Doomstick".

You know how to make it better? Yell "Russia" or some select Eastern European curse words while firing and you should be fine. :teethhappy:

EDIT: Did this yesterday: http://wotreplays.eu/site/4974983#paris-el_01-m4_sherman

That poor Chaffee. Didn't know what hit him. Probably thought "why yes this M4 might not have the fastest reaction time". Uhhh, no. xD Sadly didn't get to full pen the T21, but I did manage to track and kill. T1 came around at the end and due to my poor situational awareness I didn't see them. Whoops. Oh well, it was a fun game.

I don't know any Russian profanity... but I have extensive vocabulary of English ones, and there are times the 152 leaves me running short of them. Yesterday in a battle the enemy heavies were in a totally unorganized herd literally tripping over each other trying to push against our failing center... I missed 4 fully aimed shots in a row... 3 of them would have been kill shots. Still had 2nd highest damage in the loss... but man I could have carried that battle and flubbed it.

Its the basic story of the ISU-152... one game you get sub-600 rolls and can't hit the broadside of a barn... the next you are slamming wheelies for 800+ damage. Truth is... if it was as accurate as a Skorp it would be blatantly OP with the long 152....

I watched your battle el_01, you did really well. You were aggressive and you didn't hesitate to reposition to keep up the pressure on the other team. You made that butter soft M4 with its derpy gun work in the "heavy spot" on the Paris map. I wouldn't be too hard on yourself about the T1 sneaking up behind you... he didn't do his team any favors by taking his gun out of the fight to drive all the way around those buildings for a couple easy shots.

I watched old Jingles videos with back when it had the BL-10 and saw Tier 5s... They didn't stand a chance xD. What can I say, it's Russian RNG, sometimes you feel like everything's working out, sometimes it breaks. It IS as accurate as a Skorp, you just aren't yelling Russia loud enough /sarcasm

It sounds similar to the ARL 44 with 105mm accuracy. I've bounced the rear of a KV-1 and failed to pen the lower plate of a VK 30.01H with the thing. It wasn't at range, either, and I waited the excruciating 3 seconds for the gun to aim. Guess I shouldn't aim, because it reduces DPM :P

Thanks for watching the replay, really wasn't necessary on your part, but the feedback is good :). In my eyes the heavy corner can also be used for tanks that trade super well. I brought my BDR down there a lot and did the same with my ARL, because alpha damage really matters in that area. Especially derp guns - always doing damage when you peek is a benefit in an area where you can't expose for too long.

Triple post today. Why not. I'll not for the next few days.

Finished tank rewards with the T-43. Just needed to get a really mediocre team, which is pretty common for WoT in 2019. http://wotreplays.eu/site/4975275#teams. BanziDuck, no need to cover this one xD

Got the blueprints though so I'm happy.

Mediocre day today, didn't think much except of getting the blueprints. Pretty awful games as well, didn't do as well in the Patriot as I would like. Used up the rental on that so my service record has Tier 8 as one of my lower ones statistically. Spending em all on the KV-13.

First class in my Lorr 40t in an all tier VIII game on Ruinberg.  Haven't been playing much of late, but I wanted to build up some convertible XP in anticipation of a conversion discount this weekend.  Spawned north, which is my preferred side.  Nothing super exciting, although I was very pleased with sniping the LTTB which managed to get into the buildings north of the road.  2.9k direct, another 1.1 assistance for 4k combined and three kills.  Top for both base XP and damage,

Hey thanks for that.  Always cool to see how others see those battles.  That G7 bush is my fav.  The AMXs can position themselves right in the bush, and so have soft cover from every direction, even from tanks around the church in town.  In that game, I was spotted the first time I went for it by the T49 before I even made it to the bush.  I had to keep moving forward to retain my speed, so heading into cover in the town was my only option.
