Well, uh, I'm using a Dell laptop without any graphics solution other than integrated graphics. Plus a 2nd-gen i5. Don't think it will work out well (shrugs).

I am planning on getting Arch for my normal laptop, but I'm not sure how well WoT will work with i3. I have a *strong* feeling of "bad"

Dell Inspiron 5010, 6G Shared RAM with OS and Graphics Chip, here.

11 fps, SD lowest quality graphics, wireless internet and a wireless mouse on the edge of my craptop's surface by the touchpad, keyboard and keypad of about the size of a 3 x 5 card for all my mousing fun.  Some of my keys don't work the first time and repeated pressing (harder, HARDER, damnit) can oftentimes get me back up and going, due to a cat having clawed off the W, A, Q, Z, 1 and Shift keys off my keyboard during a match when he jumped in my lap uninvited and unexpected.

I got all that back together, but it's a limpalong in most cases.

It's what I have to play and I'm going to play, so I can't really complain the moment I hit, "Battle!"  That said, if folks see me in game and watch me play -- try to remember what I'm using to play this game with and grade accordingly, please.

My set up is with a Core 2 Duo, which is even older than the i5, and it runs fine.  The CPU is rarely the bottleneck, but the graphics support is.  I've seen threads saying the WoT will play (not at max settings obviously) on more recent Intel integrated graphics, and Wine/Lutris have good support for them.  I've never tried it myself, so can't corroborate these claims.

Finally a game worth sharing.  An Ace in my Comet on Serene Coast, my first one in this tank. 2k direct, 3k assist, but no kills.  Got a confederate medal, unsurprisingly.  Bit of an odd game, only one light per side, so I did a lot of spotting and did well in perma-tracking an Strv 103 at the end game.  I'm finding the Comet a bit on adjustment after the Cromwell, it just feels so slow.  The DPM is amazing, with my excellent crew and food, I have a 3 second reload.  Not super accurate, and the standard round is slow and lacking in pen.  Good VR, again helped by my excellent crew.  I try to keep moving, this thing does not trade well, you really need to flank.

Played something like 10 games in my 704 the tonight and last night... won 2. The losses above were 1 highest damage in the game, 2 highest damage on the team, and 1 2nd highest damage on the team.  And of course the two wins were battles where the BL-10 went wild and I didn't do much... the other 4 battles the teams imploded so fast I barely had time to load and fire a couple rounds.

Can't wait for Frontline.... need to do some serious credit grinding to pay for the Obj. 268 since I'm less than 20k Xp from unlocking it.

I got my first MoE for the Comet this morning.  No replay, it was not a particularly good or interesting game.  I did it in only 52 games, which is, I think, a record for me.  I am also currently ranked #8 on the server for the month of September.  All of which tells me that a lot of bad games have been played in the Comet recently.  I've also elited it, unlocking the Centurion.  I'm probably going to sell the Comet, while it seems to have worked out for me, I can't say I really enjoy playing it.  The goal was always to get to the Centurion and retrain the crew for it, as I picked up the RAAC 5/1 from Twitch prime and also recently bought the Firefly VC (going to spend gold on Canadian insignia), both of which have the same crew set up as the higher tier British mediums..  My British medium play will probably be divided between those two, and my trusty Bromwell.

Good hunting this weekend, and GLHF.

Hoo boy. You got any of the modules for the Centurion? Sooner or later I'm going to play that tank stock and I'm going to regret my lack of free XP conservation. Currently on the Covenanter though so I have a while to go.

Got the laptop back, it is functional. Might play a few games tonight, not expecting anything great. Will likely stop grinding the ARL for a bit and focus on the KV-13 and Chi-Nu. Perhaps the Strv 74. I really need to push myself harder in the KV-13 but the damage just isn't working. Either way ideally I can get more than the green range and push my recents up to blue. It's difficult considering how low the alpha is on all of the tanks I'm considering grinding. Will report back tomorrow morning.

A first class in my AMX 13 57.  I'm particularly pleased with this as Minsk is not a light tank friendly map.  Everyone lemming-ed east, which allowed me go up the west side, once I finally realized I had the opportunity.  I wish I had been quicker, I could have saved the Pershing.

Unlocked my 1st Tier 10 tank today...

Well, 2nd actually but I don't really count my Foch 155 I bought during the Black Market sale, I actually earned this one.

And my first battle in the tank.

Plays just like a Object 704 with better mobility and accuracy, enjoying it so far....
