First off, I don't get a lot of opportunity to play my other tanks beyond the SPGs and some slow TDs.  Lately I have been able to drag out all my other toys for short stretches (my ping is not totally stable, but it's been better the last few days).

On top of that, I had to take a bit of time to come to appreciate the DW2.  I managed it, though.  Then I got the VK 30.01(H) and I then really appreciated the DW2.  I have not found much to like about the VK 30.01(H).  Until today.

I just did this:

I honestly thought I was playing too timidly, but I was determined to utilize that gun depression on Empire's Border in the one place I thought I might be able to survive a contest.

I managed to carry the match in this thing:

I was also very happy with my fire selection and aiming with this match:

I think this is also my first Ace Mastery in this thing.

Well, I don't know if this is really brag worthy, but I'd never done this before.  In the image below, the AMX 1375 was a One Shot seven seconds after he went dark.  He was the first unit spotted.  I was aimed at the North West end of the map when he appeared.  I counted four, no Red Units show up in my arc so I swing over to him.

I get my gun arc (Grille, GER T5 SPG) on him and he goes dark and I've got seven more seconds before I'm fully closed.  It goes green and I think, "What the hell, why not?"  So I let fly.  I count one, two, three, four, five, tracer and just disappears.  HIT!  I'm already swinging at a target on the North West side.  I get my arc back to where it was and suddenly I get a Dead Tank Notice, but no points.  Whoo HOO!  I lit him on fire, nothing else would take that long!

This means I essentially One shot an AMX for all 850 HP of it with the alpha and fire damage:

Blind shooting a AMX 1375, and setting him on fire.... :D Congrates

The Arty Gods do like their sacrifices well cooked!

It's always in the back of my mind when I dump my fire extinguisher for chocolate, and roll out in my Luchs.

Got three Arsonist tokens with my M37, giggled like a little schoolgirl every time! Last one was much like you described, only I was just settling in on a target on the other flank when I got my Dead Tank Notice... Had to quit for the night after that, for I was sure that I'd completely drained my bucket of luck!

I don't do this very often, post a replay, that is, not since VBAddict went down.

Anywho, who whoo, I am still super excited about this last game.  I was SO SURE at one point (we were at 4 v 7) that we were on the Lose Track Outcome.  Watch the replay.  At one point, I managed to convince my flank to move up when I realized we'd had no opposition at all since opening moves.  Once we got there, we took fire, cleaned up a bit, but the time it took to do that made us have to turn back to reset cap when the other flank got rolled.

Crazy Loss Turned Into Victory!

Watch the replay, you'll like it, I promise.  The T67 and I just sort of synched up and worked really well together.  There were some other really good examples of mini-map collapse moments (the West side by church is educational from a mini-map view) as well as a chance to see my ping and fps while playing my butt off, even though it took me half the match to really get my crap in one bucket and snapped up my Carry Britches.  Doesn't happen all that often, lately, and this one was really a great game all the way around.

My map awareness in this game saved my butt, inclusive of running point blank into that one shot MED at North East end of map.  I actually had a sharp intake of breath at that one and it was all I could do not to snap off a shot before I aimed at him.  Anyway, watch it, I don't want to blow-by-blow it.  One of the more exciting and fun games.

End Result?

Did this. HC in the ARL 44. 90mm showed its tempermentality at the beginning, although there was no chance of penning the VK either way. Made an unusual play to avoid getting hit by the KV-2s, since I really don't want to trade that. Enemy had no team though, so I took some advantage of that.

Shouldn't have lost as much HP. BanzaiDuck, if you take a look at this one, please cover the "micropositioning", I felt that that could have me conserve more HP. Also, I think my starting position could have used some work. Thanks for the analysis vids mate.

Also, enough about myself, WP and GG to everyone who has posted in this thread recently. Good to see that people are having amazing games!

2nd class in my Bromwell on Prok.  1.7k damage, enough for a High Caliber, and three kills.  I'm guessing that I only got a second class, and 918 base exp, because others were spotting for me.  I liked this game, as I felt I really made a contribution, getting some shots from the hill, keeping the reds from controlling the hill and applying cap pressure at the end.  The Bromwell is hard tank to get badges and MOEs in, since there are some many good players playing it.  I've been playing it, and the LT-432, a lot of late.  Both are great tanks and I'm pretty happy with how I am doing in them, although the Aces are elusive.  My winrate in the Bromwell is almost 63%, the highest of any tank that I've played more than 100 games in, with the LT-432 third at just over 60%.

Good to see you Wiz!

I highly recommend both. If you are like me, and really get into museums, plan whole days at each. I think I only got thur 4 of the 8 building at Duxford. I went to Bovington when it was all in the old building. It been expanded since I went.  If I get to go back I plan to spend 2 days at the Tank Museum.
