the Doom Eternal trailer was amazing though: arachnotrons, pain elementals, hell on earth, previous enemies getting updated models, Doomguy is missing parts of his armor, and even a f#@&ing Archvile!

sooo looking forward to it

He said you can play it solo like the other games.

My questions are can you play for a one time fee or will it be monthly/yearly subscription and will there be microtransactions?

What would be cool is if you could build your world playing solo than transfer it to multiplayer where others could attempt to destroy your world.

doesn't matter to me. I imagine like most games you'll be forced to be online even when "solo" which completely cuts me out of it. not to mention that this would mean no NPC's to talk to?

add on subscriptions to PS and xbox to go online and the whole things just comes across as directed in the wrong way

after playing New Vegas I was getting interested in playing another Fallout game (NV is the first I've ever played) and this one to me just completely dropped the ball on getting me interested.

Fallout 3 was good but no settlement buidling like in FO4. If you have not played it you can get FO3 on Steam with all the DLC's for $19.99.

I'm a pack rat in the FO games - I pick up everything. Playing FO3 then going out for a walk along the river I found my first instinct when seeing a piece of junk on the ground was to pick it up and take it then it hit me, I'm not playing the game, leave it.

I misinterpreted what they meant by solo play.

But I'm still looking forward to it.

I really like building settlements so F04 is my favorite.

I first played F03 on my PS3.

If you get either make sure you get the Game of the Year edition so you get all the DLC's.

ah....nostalgia for Mabinogi

though....Tir Na Nog in Mabinogi......really has changed.   once a world of magic and wonder.......and now the Forgotten world,  a world of ruin, barren of life,  filled with lost stories(many that are better left....lost and forgotten).

sounds like they going to

when will these idiots in government learn that trying to tax people more, drives them away and leaves your city/state with a poverty problem

hell, Seattle had a tax like this before, and removed it due to it being a major deterrent toward businesses coming to seattle.

oh well, maybe when Seattle starts seeing its unemployment and homeless population increase, they'll realize they screwed up.

then again....California still hasn't realized why its got a homeless problem.   1 in 5 homeless...."golden" state

heres something cheery

Block Quote

Just weeks after passing a new tax on big businesses, Seattle political leaders signaled late Monday they would reverse course and repeal it.

A study commissioned by the Chamber of Commerce, however, found the tax would have cost Seattle about 14,300 jobs and $3.5 billion in economic output. The council expected the head tax to raise $47 million in revenue.
