With the release of the 9.15.1 update I decide to take out my M103 again with the new HD textures and turret update. I noticed that on the engine deck there was exhaust fumes coming out the right side of the tank. I haven't noticed it before the patch, I looked and saw there was a small exhaust port on the right side next to the storage boxes, the pipe goes right into the engine deck. Does anyone know where it leads to, I am guessing an auxiliary power unit.

The exhaust has to vent somewhere.  This was the general design of the US tanks at the time, where they vented exhaust out to the side of the tank.  Even the M48 and M60 have a similar style of exhaust pipes.

I suspect it ends up at the engine.

They have the main exhaust on top of the engine deck right under the turret, just wondering what the side one is for

Looks like they've tied the exhaust animation to both the main exhaust as well as the exhaust for the auxiliary motor.

In game Model is Missing the Personnel Heater exhausts to right of the driver also the Bilge pump pipe and External Fire Extinguisher handle set to left of Drivers Hatch. Small pipe on right side around the air Filter Box appears proper for the Little Joe Battery Charger Engine exhaust pipe if Installed.

Looks like a crank to open the engine deck, it's too small and solid to be an exaust.

So it was the auxiliary motor
