(Bad) Joking aside, I suppose that makes sense. Not really sure how I never actually noticed the resemblance between the two until I looked at pictures of both side-by-side, but I can see it now. BTW, one bug I saw in patch 9.15 with the Mutz remodel was that the gun would look like it was pointing in the opposite direction if you zoomed out too far while looking at it (as in, the gun would point through the back of the turret when it was actually faced forwards) Seems like a LOD bug to me, but IDK if this still happens in 9.15.1 (I've yet to actually see one in battle or drive it myself).

 

Oh, and as for the T49 hull, sounds good. I personally think the standard T49 hull actually looks better than the Sheridan's hull, especially in-game. Plus, AFAIK, the size difference between the two is pretty substantial, so it would most likely make things a bit more confusing while shooting at T49s. 

 

I noticed that zooming out and reverse gun direction with quite a few tanks. i don't think it is due to the skin on the Mutz, but more a problem with the mod. I assume you are using a mod that allows you to zoom WAY out. The normal zoom doesn't have this problem.

Good point with the substantial size differences. Think I'll keep the T49 hull.

 

I just checked the MPz 58 repo on Github and there are 3 lod models (0-2).

 

I'd be thankful if you reported any lod issues with other tanks.

Was waiting to post this until all the skins were made available again, if users want they can check the comments of all the skin posts (the two Knight skins, Freedom, Independence, Liberte and the M41 90mm) for the addons I made for them originally. Milkym4n if you wish you can bundle them as well.

 

The 5 national/patrotic skins have carousel and tech tree icons. The M41 90mm has a carousel and tech tree icon and I made a texture that adds the "proper" searchlight internals to the searchlight.

If you want to, yea sure. They'll stay in my drive for as long as the skins remain available. (Though I dont know if I'll update the archives for every patch version)

 

Also, sexy KV-2 is sexy.

Added them to each post, thanks for providing those. I can keep em updated if you don't want to.

 

Also great news on the KV-2. Turret and 152mm geometry is done. Vanilla WT textures applied and they actually look good. Next step is adding the hull model from WT into WoT althouhg I could keep it as it is and modify the WT textures to fit the hull textures more.

Yea, if you want to keep them updated, go for it, thats why Ive given you permission to bundle them directly with the skins if you wanted. Far as Im concerned, even though I "made" them, they arent really mine, considering all I really did was recycle WGs own images from the Console Tankopedia.

 

And that KV-2 looks really good.

Oh, on the subject of the M 41 90 remodel: Do you still have the files for the old options on it (i.e. default muzzle brake with IR light, glowing headlamps on the hull, etc)? I love the remodel, but I personally prefered the stock muzzle brake with the IR light added.

They got deleted I'm afraid. Glowing lights/markers have become buggy after 0.9.15 as they show up in the garage and occasionally when in battle. Not really worth using that anymore.

So... is that an M48 remodel... or an M60 Jesus remodel? Also... way to rub salt on the wound of us not having the actual M60A1 in game... :P

I could see the M60A1 as a M48A1 replacement if they downgraded the M48A1 (remove M68 and call it M48 or rebalance reload and gun handling etc.) to T9 and do some tank shuffling.

This model is intended for the M60 but since I don't own a M60 I will be releasing it for the M48A1 as well. Consider yourself lucky :trollface:
