Let the "Throwdown" begin! With the popularity of our weekly Saturday Throwdown's, we have decided to double the fun! Each Thursday there will be a 1v1 Throwdown at 5 pm PT / 8 pm ET. However, these tournaments will focus on specific tiers. Grab your favorite tier IV and head to the battlefield! Which tier IV tank will you bring - the slow and steady Matilda, the powerful Hetzer or maybe even the Type 95 Heavy?

And don't forget, the Meathead Challenge happens all month! In the Tier IX Throwdown, there were two winners! Vipsanius was Here2BeatMeat - and succeeded not only in earning the Type 59 but also having a flawless 1st place finish! Chucristian from miteam secured not only his own Type, but also a second place finish by defeating Meathead! Do you have what it takes to beat Meathead?

Mittengard is so small that something with no view range should be fine there. And considering Hetz's potential, I'm sure you're right. What would be good to counter a Hetzer?

anything with mobility, a A-20 can easily flank that thing

Hetzer is surprisingly mobile. Fully upgraded it can spin like a top...

That being said I like a Luchs chance ;)

Great idea to double the fun in the 1vs1 tournaments that are a great sucess, sadly its more one tournament i won't be able to take part like most of they because they occur to late for me and alot of ppl that have life and work, would be nice to see more tournaments in more early times, like the saturday 1vs1 that occurs at 1 pm PT if i am not mistaken, but ofc a bit more late, like 3 pm PT. ^^ We got already plenty of tournaments that occurs in late time, why not do some early for ppl that wanna play before sleeping to work the next day. =P

What if I bring in the tier 4 french artillery? Nobody will expect me to have 220+ pen APCR shells...

Using it in a TD mode should be fun. AMX 105 AM MLE 47 is even better than my favorite Sturmpanzer II.

Tournament page says 1900 my time. Evidently wrong because special battles did not pop.

The tournament starts in ~35 minutes, at 17:00 PT / 20:00 ET. It should be reading the time off your computer's clock, although sometimes that gets messed up (on my laptop, it always reads an hour behind what my clock is set at, for some odd reason).

So I am entered into this tournament, how do the matches work? Do we have to friend our opponent and create a training room with them? Or is there a different way that we get into the game?

Please excuse my ignorance, but is it on US West, or US East server?

You should get a special battle window pop up, I am just not sure if it is on West or East.

Considering the fact that the time is listed in both Pacific Time and Eastern Time, I am guessing it is for both servers.
