It's really unfortunate that some feel they just can't contribute or have dialogue without being offensive.  It says more about the participant than the system i think.

I do think the permanent nature of the strikes is a bad idea, i think they should have some sort of expiration date after a period of "good behavior".

Can using exclusively colored text and stupid fonts be a bannable offense? Please?

Can we have a new topic area please one that is for those who want to be banned from forums

Title

To be banned from forums  apply here

Id rather apply to be banned than actually bother with what i say

I think everyone should be able to do this to save WG the hassles of strikes

Just so they can kill off more things instead of fixing what need fixing in game

I would apply for this cause and  i wouldnt bother coming back here to look or anything

How do you find out how many strikes you have and are you notified for each one?

Good Q.   Want to time my banning with the expiration of my Premium days.  ;)

Wondering how many posts slamming the idea of non-dispearing strikes will be allowed before this thread is locked like the first one.

I'm quite sure you can carry on being blunt with peeps.  WG just wanted a system in place to get rid of  (with 4 chances to change) repeat , "high end" offenders.   And I don't mind that at all.

You do realize that with the 4 strikes rule its not going to end after the 1st wave of high end offenders get  banned. With the strikes never going away unless you are a plaster saint no one is going to last more than a few months if the go strictly by TOS.

Precisely. It's those very people, the fear mongers, stat shamers and trolls, that the system was made to tone down. That's why they're all going around flooding the forum with "the sky is falling" attitudes and continuing to troll ad nauseum.

They fully deserve whatever it is they get.

It's no coincidence that those who are always bullied, insulted and slandered non-stop such as myself are welcoming and supportive of the new system. That tells everybody without any doubt exactly who the problem has been all along.

Not a stat shamer or a troll but,  Is it a strike to call someone a Moron in battle cause they do something pathetically stupid and cause a loss?   If so i am in trouble

Sometimes you just cant help yourself.

One word says it all.

DUDE!

It expressed good, bad, indifferent, all in one word...and no toxic insult is issued, so you don't get a strike.

It amazes me how many words there are in the English language that aren't offensive but express exasperation, frustration and more but nobody wants to use them. They just resort to the insulting words and that's it. Read a dictionary. You'll be glad you did.

Also, can you please go back to the ticket system, no little kid would rage report in a ticket like they do in game.

U point out a good point.  Unfortunately, some of them don't "get it".  Besides, what about the females engaged in battles/forums?  "bit_h" doesn't fly with the system.

Where can we find a "dictionary" showing the non-PC/strike-generating words?   Then we can follow your sage advice... or hasten our "dishonorable discharge"  :B

And if it is a girl? Then you get a point for being sexist. Naw, stupid covers all without being discriminatory. Good to see you are still around for a few Gomez.

No, you can't. Now you're just being completely unrealistic.
