All you get if you win is a mouse that is to small to fit my big hands?

So after brutally murdering tournaments WG decides to cut them even more, this is to my knowledge the first tournament in the history of the game that if you win you get zero in game anything.

Hardware prizes are nice and all, but to spend two weeks with the horrible every other day format (the tournament doesn't need to run for two weeks WG, cut it down to one week and stop breaking the flow with the every other day nonsense) for a 60 dollar mouse and nothing else is kind of bogus.

If I do participate in this one it will be purely for my team as I have zero desire to go through two weeks for no compensation in game.

So do you get 5-7 gaming mice (one per member) or battle your teammates to the death for the one mouse? Or does the captain get it?

Off topic, but are you aware you didn't do a news page post for the Object 140 On-Track? You've always done those in the past....

EDIT: And what are the Brazilian Independence Day rewards for tomorrow?

Each player on the winning team will earn a Sabre gaming mouse (as long as they live within the U.S).

On-track, Weekly Class Focus and On-going Bundles can be found here. From what I understand, that page will be updated as things change.

I had been told tournaments were being trashed but I had no idea until now.

Thats really sad because some of us have zero interest in fictional map conquests. Show us the gold WG!

This is such nonsense you nerf tournament income by probably 90% and expect us to spend 2 frickin weeks to get less than 30 dollars worth of gold... If we are lucky. Glad this crap game isn't my part time job anymore.

Thanks dance, but I think a bit confusing having news/game events in two places?  Usually it's here:  http://worldoftanks.com/en/news/

If we win the mouse.  Can we get gold instead?  I mean I have zero chance but I have a mouse that even changes lights according to the pressure of my grip.  when I have a bad day it goes black.  So....gold instead?

I'll pass on your feedback. Not sure why the decision was made to have a separate page, but I'm guessing because the basic design of the on-track doesn't change, only the tanks involved.

It is unlikely that gold will be given out for a 1st place finish, sorry.

Just looking at this tournament makes me sad. Two weeks for a $60 reward (and arguably a mediocre mouse in the first place) is probably the lowest WG has ever gone with a tournament, and I've been doing them since early 2012.

WG pls.

Physical prizes are awarded only to U.S. residents. Any winners outside the U.S. will receive in-game prizes.

Pfft!!!  Well aren't you all just a bunch of peaches. Can't figure out how to mail something internationally? -1

Next.

So the goal of this tournament is to finish in 2nd place?

That seems to be the case, can't imagine corsair would be too happy.
