Wait so you only get the mouse if you finish first?

If you win the Mouse and don't want it, sell it on eBay and buy gold with the money you make.  Easy.

Do I need to be a permanent resident in the US for the first prize or I can get it if I'm under  a student visa?

Yep.. that's what it says.. At least on this forum, but on the website it says a keyboard.. Which one is it?????  And I like the "sell on Ebay if you don't want it".

Can't wait for WG's fiscal year to start over and get back to weekly skirmishes and Weekend warrior tourneys as they blew this year's budget on gold the first 6 months of this year.

I'll pass on your feedback. Not sure why the decision was made to have a separate page, but I'm guessing because the basic design of the on-track doesn't change, only the tanks involved.

It is unlikely that gold will be given out for a 1st place finish, sorry.

What if I come in first and I live in Canada - does this mean I get nothing - no mouse or gold?

For the last two week long tournament where the top prize was a Razer keyboard, two of the guys on our team got instead of the keyboard a T-44-100 and a month of premium, total compensation of $71.58 worth of in game goods, which is roughly $30 less than what the keyboard costs on Razers site.

If you win the Corsair tournament and live outside the states you will receive some kind of in game compensation, what that is I could not guess, other than it won't be gold, and I wouldn't expect it to be as much as the mouse costs.

What a mulligan for a tournament, and the 1st place only gets a mouse that too if u live inside the US. you guys must really be starved for new ideas for your tournaments. Please forgive me for being so disgusted at what a state of affairs this company has gone down to, you first change game specs, add new tanks, then when they become a regular part of the game-you nerf them!!!  whats the problem, cant youll leave well enough alone or must you always screw with things so that the older players who once like the game, are now, not interested in playing WOT; and are switching to other games that are fresher and have less inconveniences. Must say that this is a great disappointment for those of us who liked the game very-much at one time.

Physical prizes are awarded only to U.S. residents. Any winners outside the U.S. will receive in-game prizes.

Pfft!!!  Well aren't you all just a bunch of peaches. Can't figure out how to mail something internationally? -1

Next.

I can understand Wargaming's decision on this. Some countries do not allow prizes to be awarded. Quebec is one I think and I am sure there are others as well. After all Wargming is not a retail store and I am sure they do not want to have to research every countries laws. Best resolution is the current one.

For how long is Corsair going to be presenting this tourney... it has been "in progress" for a week after it ended.  I told people i played with we would get the gold within 7 days after the tourney ended.  Now it is looking like Monday at the soonest. :(

Dance210 ran this tourney IIRC as well as many other tournaments that ended about a week ago and she's been on vacation.  Once she's back she'll close out all the completed tournaments and pay out prized to those who earned them.
