The Paris map looks interesting. I hope they put it in the rotation more often so we don't have to play 50 battles just to see it once.

That is kind of how I felt when they brought in the Overlord Map.  I don't know HOW many times I saw it that first day, but it was certainly less than a handful of times.  It STILL is a rare map for me.

I would hope WG implements the ability to not share your player ID or able to deny permission to select websites. I do like this patch. Im just hesitant on the spotting on high ping players IE. AUS, EU, BR and will the disadvantage of having high ping be magnified as it has effect on end content like League or CW.

Improved Clan functionality:
  • The matchmaker does not create teams that include players belonging to same Clan

THIS IS NOT AN 'IMPROVEMENT'. In what earthly way could never seeing clanmates in a game be considered an improvement.

"Improved Clan functionality:

WHAT?!?  How is this a good idea?  This is the only way some smaller clans can play together.  In SCA we rarely have more than 4-5 people on at a time.  So, we will platoon up and count-in at the same time to try and face each other (or in very rare instances, play on the same team).

BAD IDEA...

Jeez...

I have 2 accounts with 2 tier X and 7 tier IX between them.  Lots of tanks.  I also don't like the 3 tier spread.  It sucks to be in the bottom tier in a medium tank knowing your only real value is cannon fodder.  Being able to do little if any damage is frustrating at best.  Games are supposed to be fun and having little potential to be of value to the team is not fun and costs credits for repair which typically leaves one with a minus balance.  I have been playing much less because of this.  A perfect example is a tier VII Japanese ChiRi.  Even with a 3 shot autoloader, there is only 130 damage per shot if you can pin.  I have been in battles where I was the top of my team and my medium is against heavies.  Battles survived is 23% for 114 battles.  That's because I hide.  Two tiers in a battle with the usual exceptions of scouts and arty.  Would be much more fair, fun and it would give people a more positive feeling about participating.  It's been quite a while but when MM sucked too bad I took my tank swimming.  Cheaper and less frustrating.  I agree with Blazer285.

Paris is new but the rest all look familiar.  They just don't all come up in the rotation very often for some reason.  Personally I wish Himmelsdorf wasn't used.  Horrible map for arty and many TD's.

At its core, World of Tanks is a game of skill and teamwork. However, this isn't always reflected when salty messages start showing up in Battle Chat. Many of you reported that negative chat is still a major issue, even with the ban system in place. Based on that, we made a few changes to Battle Chat designed to prevent toxic behavior, abusive language, and cheating. Cross-team chat in all battle types (except Team Training) is disabled, and you can instantly mute irritating players in your team chat.

Seriously? They already have the option to disable chat, that if they are being offended they can turn it off. So from now on when I enter a battle if I see a friend on the other team your taking away my ability to say hello? Kinda of defeats the purpose of playing the game with friends no? I don't know what whiny kids you listened to to come up with this idea but holy s#!t, please never listen to them again. After all the crying about gold rounds, op guns, op arty and basically any other function that causes damage to the enemy tanks, I'm shocked that you haven't turned the ammo into paint balls. It seems to me instead of listening to all the whiny kids that want you to nerf everything, you should spend more time listening to the portion of the community that suggests legitimate game improvements, you know like the spotting mechanics fix your finally putting out, it's only been suggested atleast once a week for the last 2 years.

Finally! "damage received indicator".  Playing vanilla has just become a fully enjoyable experience for me.

Everyone takes a turn at being bottom tier - don't "be" canon fodder if you don't like it, consider it an exercise in improvement and you'll be rewarded for doing so
