You really believe - and that's what it comes down to: belief - that the twin towers and building seven weren't demolished?

For YOU, it comes down to belief.  For me, as a licensed engineer, it's an educated opinion.

What are the odds three natural collapses in a row happened identically to a controlled demolition?

There was debris found miles away.  Dozens of buildings nearby suffered serious damage.  Many were so badly damaged that they had to be demolished afterwards.  You have a funny definition of "controlled demolition".  But again, this is all evidence of your complete lack of understanding of what happened, and the fact that you are woefully unqualified to discuss it.

Building seven didn't sustain enough damage to collapse on its own. That's ridiculous.

Anyway, back on topic..

Oh, you've assessed this based on examination of the damage and a background in mechanical or civil engineering?  Oh right, you think science is a scam.  You assessed it based on pictures of the outside of the building and ZERO education in any kind of engineering.

This whole attitude of "non-scientists shouldn't have opinions" is unhealthy for a society. It only serves to intellectually immobilize the people through abuse and discouragement. "You know nothing, moron, so don't have any opinions." While the truth is common sense and intuition normally reveal enough to make a decently informed decision.

Also, I have to say I'm baffled that you would expect the people to trust the government, and the institutions which are intimately linked with it, to provide the truth. I doubt that it's ever been the case that a government provided the entirety of the truth to its people, and it's certainly not the case now. So even non-scientists have to do their best and find what resources they can in an effort to discern the truth.

I don't trust the government or the institutions which are intimately linked with it and I have experienced the same attitude from Matt in discussions on global warming, a subject which last year Matt said he was the only person smart enough on this forum to understand the AGW theory. I was part of the patriot militia movement in the 1990's so I have no problem believing people in my government would do something like what happened on 9-11 but after looking at all the evidence that you think supports your claims, I don't see it. What I do see is the government had enough information on the hijackers prior to 9-11 to know something was amiss. Did they let it happen or was it another case of the government dropping the ball like they did with the 1990's bombing at the World Trade Center and Oklahoma City bombing? I don't know.

This is a somewhat recent movie I've really enjoyed watching a number of times. In fact, I think I'll stick in my DVD player later today.

Your attitude of "I don't care if you worked hard for years to study this subject in university, I used Google for ten minutes so I'm just as qualified to argue this as you" is far worse for society.

That's not it at all, but you'll only continue deliberately misinterpreting what I'm saying. There's no point.

I hope he doesn't do this to his family. That would be a nightmare for them.

Do what, hold them accountable for dishonesty?  That's not a problem, since they are not habitually dishonest, unlike some people.

Don't be fooled by him.  In public, he claims that I'm being unfair to him.  In PM, he admitted that he's a white nationalist.

I've never said anything about you being unfair to me and I have never sent you a PM.

There's nothing wrong with being a white nationalist though.

Oh.

Easy to make mistake since in a topic about old TV shows Matt claimed I was a racist because I liked old shows like Father Knows Best and Leave It To Beaver.

Ladies and gentlemen, please keep this in mind for future reference.  Usually, when someone is accused of being a Nazi, he denies it.  Not this guy.
