It's time for the Heavy Throwdown! This weekend, grab your favorite tier VII heavy tank and head to the battlefield! Players will face off in an epic 1v1 clash on Mittengard for gold and glory!!

Joining a tournament and earning a prize is easier than ever! In the Heavy Throwdown, single-player teams are split into groups, with each group having no more than 10 teams. Facing all other teams in their group, the best tier VII heavy tank commander will earn the 1st place prize - a cool 500 gold! If you're not at the top of the pack, don't worry, players will earn gold all the way to 7th place!

Stop by, sign up and join the competition!

Tournament Information

  • Team size: 1
  • Map: Mittengard
  • Max tier allowed: 7
  • ONLY heavy tanks allowed

Looking for even more of a challenge? Check out our the Platournaments on TuesdayThursday and Saturday featuring tier VII tanks - you can sign up as a complete team or sign up individually! If you sign up as a solo player you will be assigned to a team. Our eSports calendar also has all our upcoming tournaments - take a look and find the right fit for you!

Run into a player that brought something other than a heavy tank? Send in a dispute immediately after the tournament ends and we will adjust the scores. Please note, you must include all of the requested information when you submit your dispute!

An army of 1 is all you need for these.

He did show up, you weren't readied in the active team column if you got a tech loss.

So you never moved yourself over in the que, and readied up??? So you also were not telling the game you were there and ready to fight in the battle.

To be specific, you need to click on your name, click on the right arrow to move your name into the rightmost column, and then ready.

I do have a question, being new to tournaments - three people in my group were were tied for first in terms of points, but the #s beside the names are 1, 2, and 3 (not 1, 1, and 1)  Can someone point me to info on how ties get resolved in tournaments?  Ahh, never mind, I think I found it:  "HEAD-TO-HEAD: IF TWO OR MORE TEAMS ARE TIED IN POINTS, THE WINNER WILL BE DETERMINED BASED ON HOW WELL THEY DID WHEN THEY FACED EACH OTHER"

Yeah, if two people are tied for points whoever beat the other player will be given the higher finish.  If those players drew their match or there's a three-way tie (ie A beat B, B beat C, C beat A) then they all get the get the same finish.

Hello,

I played the 1v1 heavy throwdown on 22 Oct, where I placed 4th in group 42, with a prize of 150 gold.  I haven't seen the gold or a notice of how I placed.  I found out by looking at finished tournaments, but still haven't seen the gold.
