Whining is apparently a desperate NEED in some people that absolutely MUST be expressed at EVERY opportunity. I should find out what psychological specter that is.

A start

A whiner is a yeller in sheep’s clothing;
A yeller is a whiner in creep’s clothing

Is this patch why I am not able to connect to the server yet? I'm getting "updating game client: receiving updates... at 0%" for about 30minutes now.

I hadn't even gotten to use region changer yet.

Seriously, if you are going to "fix" the program, the ability to play on different servers without an entirely different client would be great.

Already 4th fix of "Technical issues", maybe they are just trying to kill the mods of the game :P

These whiners always show up for every one of these fixes. It is nice that they maintain the game by fixing up any problems. A lot of game companies won't do that. I didn't see the res mods folder being altered with this fix so I doubt it affect your mods. Most of the best mods are now part of the vanilla client so why even install a large amount of mods anyways?

Launcher on mine cannot update... it sits there for 25 minutes at a time, and just fails...

Looking in WOTLauncher.log, it is trying to download "http://dl-wot-gc.war...locale_en.wgpkg"

When I put that address into firefox, it says it is transfering at 350bytes/second and will take 8 hours!!!!!!!!

The launcher is failing because it notices the speed is too slow, gives up after 5 minutes, tries again 5 times, hence the 25 minute delay each time.

Something is wrong with WOT's update servers because fast.com shows I have 10Mbps without issues.

Sorry but I can't see where did I said I used mods, in fact, I always played the game in vanilla, and always did better than these XVM guys, or etc, soo, unless you can't understand a joke, can you say to me, where did you read, that i was complaining about mods that I never used? :P

The only problem that i get every micro patch, is a uber slow update rate, like 20% of the player base gets too, but WG is not going to fix that yet. So i normally wait the game download at 0.5kbps instead of 3.5mbps. Plus the multiple critical error messages that I and 20% of the player base gets. And I already talked to the support, they don't know how to fix it.

Is the patch related to the Mod the EU and Russia are having to install manually for the top tanker event?

Strange. 0700 EST I opened the client so it could download. Nothing downloaded. So I hit play and it connected. Played a few games. So either somehow my patch installed blazingly fast and I didn't see it, or its a CIA plot to divide the WoT community in preparation for the eventual takeover by FEMA. I don't want to go to a FEMA camp !! I wouldn't know what to wear !

If you hit pause on the download then hit play (the download icon, not play the game) 4 or 5 times the download will start.  Have to do it a couple of times during the process, but that's how I got mine updated on the last two releases.  Something just gets hung up.

That is just wishful thinking but a good way to get rid of them.

Good. They should start by killing XVM.

Again wishful thinking

WG is pretty good if I were them I would release a micro patch and mix up a few 0 and I's in the program

every 3 days and not tell anyone.

I never have any trouble with all patches becuase I run a vanilla original version of the game.

... IMO its fine to preface it with "technical issues", and the notice itself is appreciated, but for the layperson (raises hand) ... some kind of generic causal explanation or elaboration would make it worthwhile ... say for example ...

" ... for technical issues pertaining to connective reliability/lag issues/tweaks to garage/bugs related to xxx"

Otherwise it comes across as ... "because, stuff".
