Hello tankers,

This contest is for our Veterans!

With Veteran's Day approaching, we wanted to identify some of the Vets who play our game!

If you have served or are currently serving in any branch of the military, we would love to see your service photos.

Similar to last year, share any service photo of you (combat pictures, ceremonial pictures, etc) in this thread for a chance at being featured on our portal and win some in-game prizes! Feel free to give us some context on where/when the photo was taken!

(If you participated last year, image must be different)

Thank you for your service! :honoring:

Prizes: To Be Announced

Wait - this isn't a air plane! Now you know why I can't play tanks, it's not my MOS!

Far Left, super excited as you can see to not be on patrol

This wasn't a tense moment at all, having a lot of people rush out to your HUMVEEs in an area along Rt Michigan in 2006 near Ramadii

Ah yes, the tanks near Al Taquedum

The joy of your convoy having multiple hits to it via IED means a lot of dirty weapons

And yes, I got that tired

Here was me in Germany in the Army in 1987... training in Hohenfels... I'll just leave this here for any former CSM's to chew me out for sitting on my fifth point of contact without my CVC on.

... and quite a few years later in different service, advising the Iraqi Air Force in 2006.  That's me taking off with a flight with Colonel... (I can't say his name because they're still risking their lives even serving their country).  I appreciated the opportunity to help rebuild and train up their Air Force, it was kind of Karma after spending previous deployments trying to take down their Air Force.

Then a few years later in 2012 helping counter IEDs and go after IED networks.  Bonus points for anyone that knows the Tank and Model?

Like the song says, what a long strange trip its been.

Unit: HHC-4BSTB, 4th BCT, 4th I.D

At my buddy's re-enlisting ceremony, holding the flag in his honor at Jalahabad, Afghanistan .. The chief swearing him in.

(Ty community folks and fellow warriors for taking the time to reply)

Left to Right - Aaron Gordon, Nick Hartman, Jose Balthazar, Austin Brown  (Picture Taken By: Me) 4th Infantry Division.

I am not in the picture but I took the picture and it was my idea for the pic during a field training. I posted this picture so their is a remembrance for my friend SPC AARON GORDON first on the left. Hard working, bull headed individual, but nonetheless generous and always offering to help those at the unit. He is an OEF Vet who no longer able to cope with the civilian life, and joined God a few months back.

Thanks, here's one you might like as Navy Aircrew.  Flying out to the Eisenhower on their way to the gulf, former skipper of the Jolly Rogers on board, he asked the C-2 pilot to do a fly over... and did he ever.  That's the view out the back of the C-2 with it's back ramp dropped and the pilot giving it a boot full of rudder, the shadows on the right are the load master, and if I'm not mistaken the former skipper was smoking a cigar at this point... yes, smoking on military aircraft is verboten... but

Started playing World of Tanks in 1986. You'd think I'd be better at it by now.

I got a trip to Hohenfels did some training there, funny how the training co-incident with Oct fest...  I have a few photos of that glorious time... I choose not to share those as it may incriminate me at a later date.

The US hosts were amazing!  Such a good trip.

My Warrior on deployment to Bosnia at the start of UNPROFOR, that was before the UN said we had to paint all our vehicle white and stick a big blue UN sign on the sides. Moving targets or what? Doh!

In the background on the left you can just see a Bosnian tank made up of tractor parts, very ingenious, they had an old Bofors gun mounted.

This is prior to deployment in to Iraq on OP GRANBY, You guys called it "Desert Storm". We were waiting for the get go but still had time for TEA!
