No worries. I chatted to some Argentine Families who were visiting thier War cemetery when I went back in 2002. No animosity from me.

Let me clarify: I do not fight in the war in the Falkland Islands, but had been an honor to serve my country. Publish the photo because it's worth remembering all fallen in battle and those who killed themselves after. Malvinas Argentinas

We fight when we're told to fight.  We fight for those around us.  Our enemy is our enemy only as long as the politicians say so.  As our OP stated, this thread is for ALL veterans, and all are welcome regardless of the flag they defended.

Thanks, here's one you might like as Navy Aircrew.  Flying out to the Eisenhower on their way to the gulf, former skipper of the Jolly Rogers on board, he asked the C-2 pilot to do a fly over... and did he ever.  That's the view out the back of the C-2 with it's back ramp dropped and the pilot giving it a boot full of rudder, the shadows on the right are the load master, and if I'm not mistaken the former skipper was smoking a cigar at this point... yes, smoking on military aircraft is verboten... but

Smoke 'em if you got 'em.  Circumventing established policies has always been a point of pride for ALL sailors!

One of my favorite pics, being a retired USAF SNCO.  I once got kicked out of tent city (hard shelters) and moved into a local hotel so that another service could move out of their GP tents into our shelters.  Didn't complain one bit, though the Services and Security Forces got screwed because they had to stay and run the place.  Not a bad way to spend my last 4 months of my deployment supporting SFOR air operations.

I wish we would've had cell phones back then like we do now. Some of these pictures are poor quality but, do the job.

When I was younger I thought this was funny, now I'm wondering why I didn't go AF and avoid all that character building.

Good post btw
