I just picked up this tank and I love it, however I was wondering what my third piece of equipment should be. I have Vents + GLD currently, and I can't choose between a Liner or Optics.

It's a zippy tank at mid tiers, so I was thinking that a liner would help protect against the 105 HE spam, and would allow me to ram a little if needed.

Optics would help because the gun is close range, so there isn't much sitting around to use binocs. A Little extra vision could help spot a target and let me steer in for the kill earlier.

Would anyone who has experience with this tank mind telling me their setup for it?

I use GLD, Rammer, and Optics. I'm pretty much a "designated marksman" in that I get to the high ground as fast as possible and start pumping my fire while hull downing.

Well, you're technically correct. I'm afraid your answer isn't much help in this case however.

Liner is only helpful if HE doesn't pen. All the skodas have thin enough armor that HE derps have a fairly reasonable chance of penning.

Autoloading tanks cannot mount rammers, as taking 10% off of their total clip reload would be too op.

Think I have optics, vents, and GLD on mine. Not sure about rammer, there are a couple of autoloaders in the game that can use them, just cant remember if this one will.

Mostly true...but...59 16 with the Autoloader does indeed inexplicably work with a Rammer.

 

Maybe it's a mistake, shhhh, don't tell WG please.  ;-)
