Please note:  If you do not believe you have control over your win rate please read this post: http://forum.worldoftanks.com/index.php?/topic/227903-the-ruthless-math-of-wot-and-why-every-tank-matters/

If you still do not believe go find your tin foil hat, put it on, and stop reading this thread.

This is a post in a series of posts on what you can do to win more.  Here is a link to the "table of contents" of the series: http://forum.worldoftanks.com/index.php?/topic/337049-sask-outriders-want-to-win-more-series/

Quickybaby posted this video.

The take away is that experience and stat trackers do not always reflect the decisions that are required to win a game or the decisions that are made that will increase your stats that can lose the game for you.

Win rate is the only accurate measure of success.  If you make decisions that will win the game for you more often you will win more.  If you make decisions that lose the game you will lose more.

While win rate can be impacted by seal clubbing and initial releases of unbalance tanks for the most part over time these can be corrected for.

If you think you have no control over your win rate you will continue to not get better at the game.

I find that if you 'learn' from QuickyBaby, you generally play worse.

Someone who doesn't win as often as he should statistically probably isn't worth listening to anymore.

Increase your win rate by typing insults to your teammates. Works every time.

The major thing to do, and start doing no matter how much no one else does it, is to communicate with your team.  Use the built in quick commands at the least and at the most type a quick idea to your team's chat at the start of the match (like "Pushing 0 line, could use some help." ) then follow through with those who work with you by working with them.  Take hits for your low health teammates if having their tank (yes "tank"...not "stats" ) alive and operating will help your team win.  Now I'm not saying you should do it all the time, but you should learn what tanks are worth saving in each battle and on each map.  The only other thing you need to do is to play your tank's role.  If you're a LT go scout, if you're a MT then flank, if you're a TD then don't sit on the redline and wait for your allies to all die before you do your first shot of damage.

Live by the philosophy of "two tanks working together are always great than one working alone."

I want to kill more.

' victory ' is just something nice to go with it.

Generally when you just think of killing your enemies you end up winning as you either run out of people to kill or ammunition to kill with.

But that is other kind of issue.

Play to win above all else, save enjoyment.  If you have to bump enjoyment down a notch below winning, this game might not be for you.

40,000 battles..

Let me ask you, why are you going to listen to the player who goes NON CAP SIDE ON THIS MAP? Youd think after 40,000 battles he will have learnt that encounter revolves around the cap circle?

In his own video he shows that he has no clue what hes tlaking about when it comes to winning and he proves it with his own gameplay

Maybe I just find it awkward when someone pretends he knows a thing or two about winning, and proceeds to almost throw the game

But hey, youre allowed to have your own opinion too. I just hope the people who use his positions are on your team and not mine

Couple weeks ago my recent was at lousy 50%. I couldnt win no matter how hard I tried. Then boom, had 17(!!!) games wining streak. Yes, it involved a couple games where I carried my tomatos hardcore and a few where we just got lucky. All that time my WN8 stayed the same, I always played to win, did not camp or farm damage. Played mostly solo. Win rate is random in the best case scenario, in the worst-it's controled by WG. It has been proven many times before, but fan boys are deaf and blind anyways.

The great Quickybaby debate of November 2016.  Kind of like the one in April 2016, January 2016, March 2015, July, 2015.......

Spoiler

Win rate is the only accurate measure of success.

Yeah, for your team.  Which you are 1/15th of.

Unless of course you platoon with other good players.  Then it becomes easier to win.  Does that mean you're more successful?  No.  It just means you stacked the deck.  It means you chose the game's easy setting over the hard setting.  But no actual gamer considers doing well on the easy setting to be an accomplishment.
