It's time for the Medium Throwdown! This weekend, grab your favorite tier VI medium tank and head to the battlefield! Players will face off in an epic 1v1 clash on Mittengard for gold and glory!! Don't have a tier VI medium tank? You're in luck! Players can rent the Skoda T40 to join in the fun!

Joining a tournament and earning a prize is easier than ever! In the Medium Throwdown, single-player teams are split into groups, with each group having no more than 10 teams. Facing all other teams in their group, the best tier VI Medium tank commander will earn the 1st place prize - a cool 500 gold! If you're not at the top of the pack, don't worry, players will earn gold all the way to 7th place!

Stop by, sign up and join the competition!

I'm looking forward to this tournament, the cromwell/Bouncewell B are normally the go to tanks for tier 6 tournies but they are very situational in a brawl

T-34-85/Rudy/Type 58/T-34-85 M/Fire fly - you can out alpha a cromwell while having a trollish turret/hull(squishy hull for the firefly).

Skoda t40/Vk 30.01P - Alpha on steroids.

Chi-To - hit point sponge with equal alpha/dpm to a cromwell, good in a shot for shot trade.

E8 - Snap shot pro with trollish turret, watch out for getting out alpha'd by most other tanks ie. don't sit in front of the enemy long enough to get hit.

E2 - poor man's E8 unless you think you can juggle heat and he with the 105 pretty well.

Vk 30.01 D - can get out dpm'd but it can be fairly troll armor if used right and I have heard the argument that it is more accurate (personally I disagree it matters in a brawl map like mittengard).

Vk 30.01 M - also a hp sponge like the Chi-To but it doesn't get the same dpm as a cromwell so you need to nail a ram.

A-43 - better dpm than a cromwell but the alpha is painfully low so once you get your first shot off, you're committed, very troll hull.

Pz IV. S./Sentinel - a disaster of tank design.

Strv. m/42-57 - or swedish meatball, 15 sec. reload + 6 sec. to unload shells = 21 sec. is not worth 600 alpha even if you catch the enemy by surprise.

I don't have a tier 6 medium because I'm a poor pleb. - buy an E8 30% off.

very situational in a brawl

They out-DPM everything in the tier except the A-43 and are fast enough to force the issue.  Assuming equal player skill, nothing is going to beat a Crom or A-43 1v1 on Mittengard.  A Chi-To might if they're dumb enough to just stand there and trade, but it's so sluggish the Crom can cause it to lose shots/DPM if they circle it.

A cromwell has fairly awful on the move firing so if a tanker plays smart and goes to the field or bottle neck to catch the cromwell yoloing forward, then you can get the first shot off and finish the alpha fight. Also, if you are a Chi-To and you get circled because you're not running food and a 100% crew without using any buildings to stop the cromwell from circling you, you frankly deserve to lose. Also, cromwell has worse dpm than the E8 and E2.

I shared the win of my group with another player, we drew against eachother and won all the other games individually. I played the M4A3E2 Jumbo and he the M4A3E8 Easy8 with the derp. Our opponents had Crommies, Rudies and Fireflies. I think you should update you list.

Hey Dance?

For once I won my group - but I haven't seen any gold yet. Are you working on it or did I miss something? No pressure, just curious.
