Hello Tankers!

I will be collecting feedback and concerns here and all of our other social channels today.

Then, compiling a list, and sending them out to see if we can get more clarifications and details for you. Please leave feedback and comments here.

Applaud the intent... but can you please be specific about what mods you're talking about?

There's a very healthy dose of skepticism among the player community that WG is taking this seriously.

Can we please have a 'show of good faith' that lets the players know this is a serious issue to WG?

I think being specific about exactly what mods are banned would be a good start.

Second, I think it would be good to see who has actually been banned for using which mods.

I don't think you're going to convince skeptics this is a real/serious issue to WG until players see actual concrete changes.

Another very ambiguous statement that's essentially the same policy that has been in place for years that absolutely ZERO enforcement has been done on.

You want feedback? You've had 5 years worth of it...and still Wargaming has done not one single solitary thing about any of it.

How are you not selling the patriot on voting day???  What's more patriotic than exercising one's civic duty?  Think about it...

There should be separate games for those that don't use premium ammo and mods. Also, allow us to block maps we don't like. And finally, get rid of artillery. Indirect fire artillery that has the accuracy to make direct hits from across the map is ridiculous. I used to play a lot, but now I just check in for the daily double, do a few games and leave. The game is just too unbalanced for casual players.

the fact you guys will not tell a penalized player what banned mod they were using is sketchy...

you can't just assume everyone will know what mods are banned, and what aren't, even using your little disclosure as to what is and isn't...

What about new players? that come into the game say 6 months down the line, look for mods, find mods they like, and don't know one of them is banned?

That player would have a hard time knowing exactly which mod got them banned, and even if they remove mods they think caused it, if they removed

the wrong ones, and get banned again, that's it for them...

Maybe not disclose the mod exactly, but at least inform the accused of what they were accused of...

instead of: "User 1234, you have been banned due to using the "ABCD Bush Remover Mod"

say: "User 1234, You have been accused of using a mod which alters on map objects"

that way they at least have an idea of which mod caused them trouble...

I mean, even in the real world the Police tell the accused what they were accused of...

Alerting you when spotted vehicles are reloading, including displaying an enemy's reloading timer

I run a Mod that tells me the quickest time that a tank can reload after it hits me, is this allowed under the rules that where posted ? The timer dose nothing if i am not hit ?

only thing i see is any one found guilty should see proof, cant convict without showing proof that is bad in my eyes.

I think it was Call Of Duty with PunkBuster that banned over 20k players with a false positive hit. Even TeamSpeak overlay shows up in certain games as a cheat.  Everyone got unlocked in time but without proof i think you will have issues not providing it to the player if they request it. You dont have to show how you detected them but you should show the user the proof then they cant dispute it or bash WG.

what you need is a screenshot system that any player can type into chat and get a screenshot from the player or players they think are using illegal mods.

the said screenshot then would be saved on the requesting players pc in a folder like replays/screenshots thats datestamped and md5 hashed so it cant be edited and he could send it in if he finds something in it.

simple and proven to work

This feature was in Americas Army and worked awesome for server admins and players

In short, the penalty system affects players who get caught using forbidden mods for the first time -- they will receive a warning and a seven-day suspension. Should they be flagged again, they will be permanently banned. Before punishing a player, our team will review the case to ensure it's warranted. We’re asking you to trust their decisions. They are under no obligation to provide evidence or explain which type of mod the player was found to be using, and will not do so even if requested.

 da komrade.

While we're at it lets force people who play vanilla admit to using mods and hold public bannings. CYKA BLYAT

Please explain how you intend to police this? Or are you simply going to base this on Soviet KGB level of suspicion? #Notconvinced

For once WG scores some points with me as it will force the degenerates to play honest and they know who they are as for everyone else using legit mods tank on.

Haven't you figure out how this works by now? They make us provide most of the answers first, before they put out any remarks/answers that they have no real answers for before hand, that way they don't get trapped.  You change the data around the situation as you go along to trap the opposition.  That's how WG rolls.
