Are you kidding me? Is this just going to be another failure concept like the strike and ingame report system?

 

This is honestly super disappointing

FYI, Aslains has decided that the Fair Play Policy forbids Autoaim Indication+ and removed it from the modpack today.

 

Personally, I like the mod and think it is fine; it works the way vanilla autoaim should work. However, I won't be using it anymore. Hopefully, WG will finally clarify the status of this mod.

as far as i know WG has no way at all to tell What mods , If Any, are being used at any time !!

 

Only way to Stop Illegal Mods is to Ban all Mods and Close/Lock/Encode the WoT Program

 

They can tell what the mod does to the client through the python code (the python doc in your client)

FWIW, QB seems to think its legal...  hmmm..  more confusion.

Too much confusion on this issue.  There needs to be videos, photos and a way to differentiate the two mods.

Auto Aim - automatically aims at week spots and leads targets for more damage and more accuracy.

Auto lock - locks on tanks which you can't lock on to with the vanilla client like targets behind objects.

Is it in his modpack? When it comes up on his stream he acts like he doesn't know about it or use it, but his gameplay sure makes it look like he uses Autoaim Indication+.

lul, he doesnt. His mod pack has no aiming assistants in it at all. its xvm, a hit log, and in garage features. :P Do you actually watch QB? :P

That's not helping, because autoaim isn't the same as an aimbot as you are suggesting.

Didn't realize.  I haven't used his modpack in like 2 years and no I don't watch his stream...though I do check out a video from time to time.

I am not suggesting it's the same... I am trying to let people know the issues is, what everyone is discussing, IS THAT THERE ARE TWO DIFFERENT MODS out there.

one is clearly a cheat and illegal as posted many times, but what everyone wants to know is the "auto locking" mod which allows players to lock on,  AND JUST LOCK ONTO, behind object ALSO considered illegal.

But we need photos, videos and TWO DIFFERENT TERMS to explain the two different modification and enhancements.

He doesn't.  His modpack is quite 'bleh' in fact.  When he streams, he uses 'other' mods that are not included in his modpack though like some pointed above.

I too saw Auto-aim + used on a couple of occasion by QB, but he doesn't put it in his modpack, the same as the Free cam he uses for replays.

Neither do i, to be honest.  Im going off of what he said in his most recent video, non of which (at least that i caught) led me to think he thinks its illegal.

 

I havent used mods in months.
