Just to clarify: we did not have members going into battle closing the game and then logging into other accounts. We had people join a battle, press escape, click leave battle, the general would aks if you wanted to desert and you accept, then join another battle. There may be 1-2 minutes between battles so you have time. With that said, you may still consider us really really scummy dbags, but now you actually know what happened instead of assuming you knew.

Regardless of opinions, WG has ninja'd rules and event postings on many occasions. This thread was made as an unofficial official announcement since WG lacks good communication.

Maybe you should plan your battles better if you can't field multiple teams.

You can minimize that problem by doing 2-1-2-1-2 or 1-2-1-2-1 now that some provinces have +15 min offsets. This will let you keep one tourney going from one of the previous province with a chance at getting to the province owner. This is viable even if the clan is not certain they can win all the landing tourneys. For big clams, they just don't apply to landings for the next timezone as they're not as worried of losing landing tourneys early on in the rounds.

We do 1 then 1+15 then 1. But if you keep winning, and get to semi or final, you gotta throw because it goes into the next one (9 will still be going at 11 when they are same offset or non offset)

Indeed, I agree; that rests solely on our leadership. We control map moves and organization. Obviously during this campaign we failed our members by not doing it well enough. We didn't go into the campaign with the plan to use the tactic that was used. We never intentionally scheduled too many battles. We try to maximize our battles based on average attendance. Just like every other clan we want to do what we can to maximize the chances of our members to get enough fame for the reward tanks. As the campaign goes on attendance starts randomly fluctuating a lot more since this is a nightly event that lasts 5 hours or more. There are also variables such as teams drawing out battles or land defenses popping, people working late, and so on... Stuff happens and although we were pretty active, we couldn't always field all the battles. At the time, before the rules were clarified we were guilty of having players join a battle, go back to garage, and join another battle (within the time span between battles..). These players were still using their accounts, just picking a different tank.

This was a large topic of discussion last campaign and WG never chimed in. It was done by many clans last go around. We've witnessed it nearly every campaign. Personally, I'd rather have the fame points than a tech vic... but if it's clearly against the rules then it is  against the rules. That's that. WG finally made a decision and we had 8 players handed a 3 day suspension. That's 3 days of no fame and 3 days of lost premium time. Afterwards WG also made the rules clear. They admitted the rules were not clear and they did not issue further punishment because of that. They should have just responded to the community questions last campaign instead of letting it go and then waiting to make an official ruling until 75% of the current main campaign is over with. They should have also announced this in the campaign forum so that way it would never be questioned from that point on.

So, think what you will. RS can be labeled dbags, or bad guys, or whatever by some. We can't change how people think and it's their right to feel that way. We were definitely not the only clan to do this. That doesn't really mean anything now. The rules are clear and RS will not break them.

For not being in the top 15, we still fared pretty well having 61 members potentially qualifying for the tank. Had we did as you suggested and planned better, we stood a very good chance of making top 15 overall which would have qualified another 10-15 members. Penalties that we received from not being able to field scheduled battles prevented that from ever happening.

I am also aware there will be future trolling. I think our community CRD specialists have already made progress in this area.

I just find it funny that people are trying to justify this rigging under the "we didn't know". Intentionally losing a battle ie: afking is rigging its thats simple. For people to believe that clans doing this thought it was within the rules must be completely stupid or really naive.

We came across this last night against -HERO. 2/3 of there tanks where afk, only about 5 players. I ammo racked a full HP type 5 heavy because lol. Was a fun match, I could care less, free fame points for us. Why people report this idk, much better then getting a tech for no fame points honestly. So thanks -HERO for atleast showing. Same with HARM, they yoloed 12 players down mid in BCs and meds and basically handed us a win. It isn't scummy, its just the fact that you cant fill 2-3 teams at tier 10, but don't want to tech and give other team no points. So no, -HERO was not reported. As for QSSF who won the match then proceeded to play with our E5 left so he couldn't win but they would draw, they where reported. logging out so they exploded and got the draw.(Our E5 was out of ammo (10k dmg) and they just keep resetting him on cap with HE to the tracks as to not kill him.) Have fun with those bans QSSF, wanna throw a match, cool, but don't defeat the other team then proceed to do that. You throwing, then you throw and let other team advance, you wanna play, you win fair and square and go on to next match, not play with your food as to loss. Albeit we got 66 fame off a loss because of it, but still, now that was scummy, imho.

Yeah sorry about guys not getting an accurate battle. You happened to be the clan with the first battle pop. Thanks to RS for mentioning we couldn't afk it like in previous campaigns. As for what QSSf did you can send in a ticket and they will lose some clan fame and have the members that "played with food" banned for awhile if WG sees it as "playing with food".

This is wargaming's definition of it.

Leaving enemy capping, while resetting the cap periodically, to gain additional fame from cap resets.

Not killing the remaining enemy, to gain additional fame (playing with the food).

Not killing/firing upon enemy tanks, when its obvious that should be happening in normal play.

What? I think this is relating to the battle I was not a part of yesterday that you beat us in, but I am unsure as it has nothing to do with that. I merely informed Kier of the clan rule against "playing with food".

WG has decided to change the interpretation of the rule we all know as "playing with your food" to include people who join a battle then immediately back out. Most people have read the previous forums and I don't want that to happen to another respectable clan because they did not know about the mid-campaign rule change.  We have faced 1 team yesterday and 2 more today with 12 AFK tanks... some less than respectable clans are reporting for this and if they do your players will get a ban without warning. WG did the right thing with us and told us it was a violation but did not issue a penalty this time. That doesnt mean they will do that for another clan after all the coverage on the forums.

To those clans, thank you for showing up... we appreciate the points, however I don't want people doing the right thing and helping the community to be penalized.

Less than respectable clans are reporting cheaters? lmbo... What else would you have done, ignore it??

You where not afk. Maybe English class would help your reading comprehension. You won the match fair and square, then proceeded to make sure it was a draw because you couldn't take a win. I wouldn't be mad if youd taken the win, you won, fair and square. But you won then mad sure it was a draw as to kick us both out. Have fun losing a bunch of clan fame for it though as a ticket was submitted, and seeing as WG takes that stuff seriously (Out of all things they could) and do penalise people. Have fun losing a ton of gold.

Yep. They AFKed, it was free fame. The only time id report them was if they did was QSSF did, or something similar.

Ya no problem, you showed up and gave us free fame, we have no problem with that. And yes, QSSF was reported and will most likely end up losing 25% of there clan fame. This will put them all the way out of gold. (A loss of over 31k gold)

Agreed. But seeing as I went to a French immersion school where English was not taught very well, I ended up with terrible spelling. At least I don't have the reading comprehension of a 2 year old though.... Just cause your good at tanks doesn't make you smart though.

turned it off on my phone due to making words other words even when spelled correctly. It was annoying so I just removed it.
