fast firing

good elevation on gun

decent mobility

very cool skin

medium trainer

Can just decimate if loaded with gold

If you stay away from gold and use standard shells it makes $

It's a worse E8 which is already pretty unremarkable and has been power creeped to being poor.

My question is why buy a Fury in the first place.

Say what you want I've had it since it first came out. It's a beast!

It isn't old enough to be power creeped.

All those .50 cal bullets for the last stand weigh something. Too bad they didn't carry extra Small/Large Repair Kits. They wouldn't have ran into trouble from those darn pew pew guns.

I'm not so much concerned about whether the e8 has been creeper or not but rather why the exact same tank with no pref MM has significantly worse mobility, armor and gun depression...it has slightly better ground resistances but nowhere near enough to counteract the negatives

Because when Fury was released WG still thought prem tanks shouldn't be as good as their standard counterparts and weren't releasing blatantly OP tanks like the T26E5.

Remember in the movie when the new guy had to pick someone's face off the floor?   Well this thing is full of faces.   Four tons of faces.

well I hope they buff it because if the crombie is as good as the regular crom, this should be the same. Especially considering it's much rarer. And also technically costs more if you're not factoring in the extra gold and Berlin crews.

It is the only movie themed tank in the game.

It has the only movie themed crew in the game.

It has only been offered once before this.

Lastly, it's pretty fricken cool!

What?

The E8 is still quite good in most regards. It's one of the best mid-tier mediums at firing on the move and working terrain, and those abilities are always nice to have. The Fury is not noticeably worse in a way that most players would ever notice anyway, so in my opinion it's a fine premium tank.

What can a E8 still do? Here:

The Fury could do the exact same thing and make more credits and more xp for the crew, and that's the whole entire point of a premium tank.

Now, to answer the poster's question on why the Fury weighs more... Just look at all of the stuff on it!

actually it has 2 degrees less gun depression and 3hp/t less power to weight ratio and a weaker mantlet.

and yeah I see the stuff on it. what I DON'T see is the two freaking ford f-150's it would need to also have strapped on it that would make it weigh that much. there is no way in hell a few logs and ammo boxes weight 4 METRIC TONS.

Well, close...

The Rudy, its crew (and the dog!)  were featured in a Polish TV show.

So I heard people talking about the fury being sluggish compared to the e8, I noticed it does have 20 less hp, but it also weighs 8000kg more! with could cause essentially the same tank to weigh that much more, and what are we getting for it in return?

credits and a challenge?

I bought it and got the tank, 4200 gold, a slot, and 100% tank crew for a decent price

2 degrees less still is more than most mid-tier mediums

3hp/ton less is still good enough

Weaker mantlet isn't a big deal to me, as while in my I don't rely on the mantlet that much.

So: The Fury's still a pretty darn good tier 6 medium, and a credit/xp maker to boot.

Mantlet armor is one of the most important things of a tank, i never get people who dont care to have any.

it still doesn't really make sense why it's so much worse than a tank that should be exactly the same other than the reskin
